           “Oh well, the ones you regret are those you didn’t do.” She lets out a chuckle as she as she hangs the towel on a chair, cinnamon brown hues dancing in amusement. “C’mon, I would love to hear your thoughts so spill it out.”

Aoshi gave a sigh. His thoughts puzzled on whether he would leave or stay. As she said the things you didn’t do are the ones you regret. Since they are friends maybe it would be alright to go along with her teasing too. “Hmm!”

       “ Aw! Ain’t that sweet?” The woman lets out a giggle. She actually appreciates his gentlemanliness but she wants to play and when she does no one can stop her. “Well, I get the clue but I want to hear it from your mouth?”

 If he was drinking tea, he would have spit it out. Her teasing is about to get way out of hand. It didn’t help that she was wearing only a robe with probably nothing under. “You’re going to regret this, Megumi.”

       “Uhm! well, using deductive reasoning, I would say it would. But it still depends on the thoughts you have at this moment. So what are you thinking or meditating about?”  An amused grin flashes across her features. It appears like she is some kind of temptation he must resist. Oh well! Why not? Let’s see.

This woman is not making things easy for him. He has always admired Megumi physical beauty but her brains is the one that attracts him the most. It makes her even more hard to resist. “You don’t have to know my thoughts. You might find it disrespectful.’ He sighed. “That gives you a clue what those are.”

“Makoto Shishio, the successor of Himura Battousai. If you haven’t heard of him from the days of the Bakumatsu, I’m sure you’ll be hearing about Shishio-san very soon.” Okubo’s assassination had set the wheels into motion, the first of many of their plans. Where Aoshi Shinomori would stand during this upheaval was the question… As far as Soujirou could tell, he was not a man easy to string along. “I apologize, I’ll be clear with you. Shishio-san would like to speak with you, Shinomori-san. You’re interested in Himura Battousai, and we’re interested in your strength.”

“Damn Imperialists! ” The former Okashira muttered a curse. He knew of Makoto Shishio of course. That man is still alive then.  As to how he survive his supposed to be demise is none of his interest at all. He has his own goals and business to attend to. “I am in interested in Himura Battousai but what does that have to do with my strength? If you want me to work for you, no thanks. I can do well on my own. Now,  will you excuse me I have matters to take care of.”

          “Do I have that kind effect on you?” Another set of giggles came past her mouth as she dries her hair with a towel. Who could say the ice block doctor can be flustered too? The more he becomes uncomfortable, the least she is likely to stop teasing.

 Aoshi may have been used to the female doctor’s teasing but seeing her wet with only a robe on makes it more difficult to think clearly. They are friends but he is still like any ordinary guy. “Would my answer matter?” He cleared his throat before he closed his eyes to meditate.

That’s why I use his surname at my badoo account, Athiya Shinomori, and my second ‘recluse’ Facebook account, Harunomia Shinomori.

Anime isn’t always about childish things, sometimes it can teach you more about life.

  “Oh well, I look better than any of them I bet.” Megumi flashes a sly wink, a foxy seductive giggle escaping past wet cherry lips. She and Aoshi have been good friends and colleagues for a while now. Teasing is like coffee for her. It keeps her up.

The male doctor lets out a sigh, ice blue eyes fixed on the fabric groping her body.  As indecent thoughts flood his mind,he felt the heat burning the rest of his body. Undeniably, Megumi is very attractive. How he was able to control that attraction towards her entails massive self control and respect for her as a friend. “Are you trying to seduce me?”
