Of all the things to have possibly happened on his way to the party, Tony supposed he’d rather be stuck in Costco than to have been eaten to death at Max’s house. The good part was that he was the one responsible for bringing all the drugs to the party, and now he was stuck with them– plus, he spent basically all his money on them, which was probably a good thing, considering money was just about completely useless (along with the rest of humanity). The bad part was that his car windshield got fucked when he (not so accidentally) hit a zombie. It did also kind of suck that Max was basically on the phone with him the entire time she was being attacked by zombies, too, but Max didn’t have four-wheel drive.

Dying wasn’t really on his bucket list, and Costco was the closest place that didn’t have a ton of cars beginning to stop up a nearby street. His initial plan was staying in the store for a few hours, waiting until all the infected peeps got out of the way, and then driving away safely after all the cars (hopefully) cleared out. The key word here being “initial”. Before he knew it, the store was being barricaded, and he was left wondering, did I even have anywhere better to go in the first place?

Of course, the answer was no, but he still didn’t like where he was very much. How could anyone? It was Costco, for Christ’s sake. Plus, after a few months, the place sort of reeked. He ended up not minding it so much after a while, though. A lot of his time was spent getting to know the other people stuck inside, and learning how to both cheer them up and piss them off (mostly the latter). It was a nice quirk that came with being a dick.

Months after his arrival, Tony’s reckless attitude had basically multiplied ten times over. The world was ending anyway; what more did he have to lose besides his dignity? There was no point in not having any fun, even if he did have to put in effort every once in a while. Effort was one of Tony’s least favorite things, but he supposed it was still being able to push peoples’ buttons. It was his favorite hobby, after all.

It all started when her flight was cancelled.

Now this alone wasn’t an unusual event. Flights at the IATA got cancelled all the time. Whether it was snow or rain or slate or even, once, oddly enough a moose on the runway, by her last year of study abroad, Wren was quite sure that she’d seen all possible causes of flight cancellation to be thought of.

That was until there was a cancellation for zombification of the plane’s pilot. And attendants. And passengers.

That was a new one even for her.

Zombification. A wonderful word really. One she would’ve been thrilled to have used in daily conversation before all this occurred.

The phrase ‘be careful what you wish for’ would be expected at this point, that would be if she wasn’t still thrilled to use the word zombification and any other variant of undead adjectives in daily conversation. Seeing as she is, instead another point should be made:

Fleeing zombie filled air vehicles was also a new experience for her. So was hotwiring and driving a truck three times her size. So was scrambling to drag zombified roadkill into the back of said truck, not to mention purposefully running into attacking undead figures.

But of the infinite number of things that were new to Wren that day, Costco however was not.

And even in the mix of panic, fear and intrigue that was surging through Wren’s mind, making her way to the one of the few places within the small town she’d inhabited for the past four years that had near infinite quantities of food, furniture, was almost obvious to her. After all, Costco had helped her survive college.

Why not this too?

I'm debating on whether or not to apply for The Oddball or The Wordsmith. Anyway, which faceclaims could you see as The Oddball? Would Lee Hyeri be allowed? As for The Wordsmith, would you rather see James McAvoy or Oscar Isaac?

Lee Hyeri would absolutely be allowed! And I would love to have Oscar Isaac around.

As for other options I could see playing The Oddball character:

he was stupid, so freakin’ stupid. heath knew that running from his shelter was a stupid idea, but it wasn’t even like he’d had much say in the matter. he went to bed peacefully with the doors shut, only to find them thrown open with his idiot of a group member standing in front of them, arms wide open screaming “take me!!” to the zombies that were all wandering around like helpless fish. he’d bolted without grabbing any supplies or bothering to see if anyone else would make it — he hated that stupid group anyways. it was stuck of people he’d grown up with and it wasn’t like they were the sharpest tools in the shed either. when he ran into this other group that was - get this - living in a costco around february, he decided it would be the safest option.

he’d weighed out his choices - ride it out with them in costco or go back into the harsh world where you could get your face bitten off if you turned the wrong corner. he didn’t do much for awhile, for the first few weeks or so he kept to himself. he actually found himself missing his old group, his friends that he’d only grown to hate since the freakin apocalypse started. heath was thankful that nobody here knew him though, that nobody was pressuring him to make a decision or looking at him to call out a play or something. he got along with these people, even if they only viewed him as stubborn. heath’d been doing this his way for a majority of his life, he wouldn’t stop now.

Oh boy, I know this is such a cop out, but, I’m really not picky, at all, when it comes to that sort of stuff - which is why there aren’t any restrictions on FCs. 

The FC suggestions are who I thought would work pretty well in that role, but, as stated, they are just suggestions. We could probably use more POC, though, so, hopefully that narrows it down a little better for you. 

I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you! There’s just so many amazing FCs I would love to see and I don’t want you to feel like your options are limited!

Can someone have the same trope as another character?

 “When applying, we can only apply as the open trope(s)?”

I had two questions that were very similar, so I’ll answer them all in this response. 

I did have someone inquiring about other possible tropes to switch out, but since most of the roles are now filled, I would be willing to accept any of the tropes on this page as well as the one currently open trope. (you can click anywhere on that sentence and it’ll take you to that page.)

However, if none of those appeal to you, I would be more than happy to talk to you off-anon, privately, about other possible tropes that we could add to bring your character in!
