friendly reminder that victoire does not grow up in england with the rest of the weasley family.  she grows up in yeosu with the rest of her extended family from fleur’s side.  she went to muggle school in yeosu,  transferred to seoul during fifth grade with her aunt naeun so they have better opportunities for victoire to grow as a figure skater.  she didn’t grow up close to the rest of her extended paternal family like what some might think.  the thought of growing up in a place where magic is everything and with very little room for adjustments for a non-magic person in the household is too much for victoire to bear.  she makes sure she keeps in touch with her parents and her siblings of course,  but that’s easily it.  her connection to her other cousins are almost nonexistent as she doesn’t really see them often other than during holidays. 

tldr;  victoire is not close to any of her paternal cousins,  and she grew up in yeosu as well as in seoul,  but never in england.

she  scoffs.      the only one ?   yeah,  right.  the rest of her extended cousins seem to worship the ground he walks on,  as opposed to them being completely indifferent when their squib cousin comes home from the holidays.      “   oh teddy,  quit kidding around.  we all know my cousins would be more than eager to hear your fair share of woes.   “      she says it mostly out of spite.  he easily fits into the world that she’s supposed to be included in,  and there she is,  on the outliers of the entire ordeal  --  trying her best not to feel angry enough to want to go back to yeosu. 

          her eyes find him again,  when she’s busy trying to search the pockets of her coat for the pack of cigarettes she managed to hide from her mother.  it’s when she finally sighs.  victoire is never really one to hold a grudge for something that’s her fault.  teddy’s not the one to blame just because he has magic and has been around longer than she ever had been.      “   i’m sorry that’s....  that’s not very nice of me,   “      the smile on her face is apologetic and shy,      “   but i mean,  why wouldn’t i care ?   out of everyone here you’ve actually made an effort to talk to me every time i come over.  that’s enough to at least warrant my care.   “      victoire shrugs.

victoire is a squib.  i’m taking out any stuff in her bio that says otherwise because i’m retconning that fully.  she’s a squib and the only magic she has is her magic on ice and the veela charm.  that is all thank you for coming to my ted talk
