Over the years IKEA has produced some fantastic adverts that manage to engage their customers by using creative and often emotive advertising to appeal to their customers.
These are my top 3 IKEA Adverts:
1) Welcome Home 2016: Part of the #wonderfuleveryday campaign, I think the use of emotive music is engaging and helps to feel compassion for the mother returning home after a day at work, but also the recognition by her son for doing so; he recognizes she is walking alone in the dark and wants to protect her.
2) Time For Change 2013: The premises of this advert according to IKEA is ‘to make more of your garden’, which by the look of the home owners, is defiantly a task in hand.
3) Come Home To Play 2015: This reminds me of my childhood, the mix of animation and reality is a perfect combination to create emotive thinking and interest within the IKEA brand.
