Love What You Do Redux
Recently at the store I had the good fortune of meeting a woman from Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was one of those chance, seemingly mundane moments that turned the day into something special.
The Argentine had come into the store to ask for directions - this happens daily and it could have been a brief interaction (given the quality of the map, our language barrier, and the fact that I had no clue of the landmark in question) but stories were exchanged, long-haul flight appropriate samples given, and alternative neighbourhood recommendations were made (obviously @gingerandwhite and @Melrose_Morgan). Turned out it was her last day in London and she had chosen to spend it in the part of the city she'd loved the most - Hampstead.
Later that afternoon our new customer returned to say thank you and that the latte from Ginger and White was the best EVER. Such a thrill to be able to make a memorable difference to someone's day in the most simple way. And that's how we do it.
