Shield of the Dragon by Megan Derr
If the aftermath of destroying two powerful syndicates and joining league with the last person he expected, all Ken wants is a chance to catch his breath, and maybe regain the attention of the man who said he wanted Ken as more than just a Steward but now seems to have lost interest. But every other day bring a new crop of people wanting to kill them, and it’s…

Reapers Fire by Joanna Wylde
The club comes first. I’ve lived by those words my whole life—assumed I’d die by them, too, and I never had a problem with that. My Reaper brothers took my back and I took theirs and it was enough. Then I met her. Tinker Garrett. She’s beautiful, she’s loyal, and she works so damned hard it scares me sometimes . . . She deserves a good man—one better than me. I can’t…

What I Love
Okay. I know it’s been a while, but I’ll try to do better. While I’ve been off, slacking on the blogging thing, I’ve definitely been reading (and listening to some great books). Here are a few that I’m head over heels for.
The Pirate of Fathoms Deep by Megan Derr
High Commander Lesto Arseni is the most feared man in the Harken Empire. None but the High King dares risk his wrath—and a pirate who…

Prickly by nature on audio! Hey guys! I’m like a week late but life gets in the way sometimes. I’m happy to announce that Prickly By Nature is finally on audio book.

It’s storming outside and when it storms like this, I like to read. A lot. Which also means I sort of binge on book purchases… here’s what I’ve added to my TBR this week
Phoenix Reborn by J.D. Tyler

What I Love (in audio)
Audiobooks are not new but we’ve seen a kick in interest over the past couple of years and, yes, I was one of those who found myself interested. In my head, as I read, characters take on life with personalities of their own, inflections that are their own. But to hear someone else’s take on those characters, the stories, the inflections… that’s something altogether different and fun.
Here are…

On the dial Friday is here! And with it is the music that will lead me into the weekend. I love music—all sorts.

So many books, not enough time. Y’all should see my TBR. It’s insane. Nevertheless, there are so many I want to read.
Here are some I have at the top of my list.
Sebring by Kristen Ashley
Nick Sebring has issues. Born feeling like an outsider in his own family, growing up under the shadow of a brother who could do anything, Nick isn’t that great of a guy. But when this culminates with Nick…

HAPPY LEAP YEAR!!
I know it’s been a bit since I’ve blogged… gah… these past few months have been hectic. But I have been working, slow and steady, and I’ve been reading. So here are some of the things I’ve read recently that I’ve been head over heels for.
Kings Rising by C.S. Pacat
Damianos of Akielos has returned.
His identity now revealed, Damen must face his master Prince Laurent as…

In the Works My life has been a bit insane these days, but I am working… however slow. Currently I have several things in the works.

Birthday Giveaway!
As some of you know, today—December 19th—is my birthday. I’m pretty vocal about it.
Also as most of you know Prickly Business was released on audio (at Audible) on the 17th.
I wanted to do something special for my birthday and what’s more special than giving gifts? So… here goes. For my birthday I’m giving away an audiobook of Prickly Business (narrated by the awesome Iggy Toma) and one ecopy of

Ragtime Time
Fridays are my favorite! I love the weekend because it’s two days I don’t have to wake up early (even though I usually do anyway, but I don’t have to) and it’s usually time for me to relax and get some heavy writing in. This week has been especially tough because of last week’s super long weekend.
What I use to get me through tough weeks like this is music. All types (save a few) to relax me, to…

What I Love (Advent Edition)
What I Love (Advent Edition)
It’s no secret to those who know me, just how much I love Winter Holiday stories—be it Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yule… whatever… I love the happy, sweet feel of them. Because truthfully, there’s nothing better on a cold day than to sit in front of the fire and read a happy ending
So now, at the beginning of December, I thought I’d share with some of my favorite Advent stories.

In the Stacks (Advent Edition)
Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, I can officially start talking about and obsessing over this years advent stories. Also, December is my birthday month so I tend to overindulge (even more than usual) in the book category, both because I love this season and I love holiday stories! Here are the ones I’m looking forward to reading (like now):
