hi hello >.< sorry chat the long reblog thread was getting hard to read and also it felt right to slightly switch for like the setting chang #autism #OCD
anyways; @larry-thegreaser
By the time Larry woke up, Johnny was surprisingly still asleep, out like an old dog on the warm floor. Larry honestly thought he'd be the last one up; maybe it was because that was his first full night of sleep in roughly a week and a half, or some strange miracle, but he felt great! for once, he wasn't aching with the heavy sleep stuck in his bones or the permanent exhaustion that fogged his mind.
He laid still for a few minutes, absorbing as much of Johnny's warmth as he could before he decided to get up for the day. he sat up carefully, shifting the bedding away from himself as he crawled over Johnny and his feet hit the floor. his glasses were the first thing he reached for, not bothering with contacts today. he slipped into the slippers by his bedroom door and slipped out of the room as quietly as he could.
He went straight to the bathroom, flicking on the light and rummaging around for his toothbrush in the medicine cabinet; he brushed his teeth a bit roughly, took his meds - which he still hasn't really told Johnny or the others about, yet - and headed for the kitchen, smiling warmly as he heard the lively music coming from his mother's old radio and felt her lively energy.
a wide grin stretch as he peeked around the wall to greet her for the first time in days, a bubbly feeling blooming in his chest, "hmmmm? who's this lovely lady takin' up my kitchen, huh?" he dipped under the poorly hung banner his sister, Mara, put up a few days prior and headed straight into his Mami's arms.
They spoke for a while, dancing around each other throwing together whatever they had for a somewhat decent breakfast before Larry slipped away to wake up Johnny, an easy smile staying on his face as he re-entered his bedroom.
Johnny had since tangled himself up in the sheets and somehow lost a sock, but he looked comfortable.
Larry crouched by the edge of the bed, crossing his arms over the side and snickering to himself at Johnny drooling, before lifting a hand to start poking at his cheeks carefully, "C'mon, baby.. 's time to get up."
"Mami's makin' breakfast~"
sorry if i suck and should die 😟
Johnny stirred in bed, lightly shoving Larry’s hand away from his cheek in his sleepy state. He shot awake the second he felt Larry’s lips on his neck, a raspberry being blown— both the noise and sensation mixing together and waking him up. He’d been so on edge lately that he would’ve probably punched Larry if he hadn’t seen his boyfriend’s face first.
Johnny was one of those people who were the worst to wake up when they were deep in sleep. Because of how drowsy he was, he barely acknowledged Larry at first— kicking off the covers and sitting up, burying his face into his hands as his fingers dragged down his face. A groan slipped past his lips knowing he had to get up.
Johnny had been sleeping alone in the tenements for weeks. His sleep schedule was a bit crappy. Firstly, this was the first time sleeping at Larry’s in months. Secondly, he wasn’t used to waking up with someone near him because of how long he’s gone without sleeping with Larry. Lastly, he was usually alone in the tenements, giving him free will to do as he pleased. Those were all factors that played into why he’d been so rude when being woken up by Larry.
“Gimme like five minutes..” he mumbled to his boyfriend, still sitting up in the bed. He sighed as his boyfriend left the room; the door of the room was left cracked open. He didn’t even know how long he’d been sitting there until the light filtering through the blinds registered in his brain. With not many choices, he forced himself to stand, pulling on his old t-shirt which he’d discarded in the middle of the night and heading to the bathroom in a t-shirt and Larry’s pajama pants.
He brushed his teeth using the spare toothbrush Larry had bought for him god knows when, spitting it out into the sink and wiping the toothpaste from his mouth with the back of his hand. He rubbed the back of his hand onto the fabric of the pants with his free hand turning on the faucet to splash his pale face. He stared daggers at the mirror, eyes fixated on the small pimple that had formed on his forehead. Not wanting Larry to see him like that— so gross and riddled with acne (as if it wasn’t just ONE pimple)— he brushed his bangs over his forehead and exited the bathroom.
He practically got trampled by Mara, her small arms wrapping around his legs, he giggles filling the hallway as he rested his hands on her shoulder and rocked them both back and forth. He released his grip, bending down to pick her up and resting her on his hip as he walked down the hall, free hand smoothing out his hair. He wanted to put a little effort into his look— wanting to look decent around his boyfriend’s ma.
“Morning.” Johnny said, walking over to kiss his boyfriend’s cheek when Larry’s mother wasn’t looking.
