The Final Episode

Let me just say that tonight's episode is going to be your favorite thing ever. I'm not going to give anything away because just wow. It's amazing. The monologue of course made me weepy (he just explains the whole show & the support so well) but the opening was just so great I don't even have words. The rest of the show went on so quickly & routinely it was crazy. But boy oh boy, when he thanked everyone & waved as he started to walk away bowing & blowing kisses & the lights in the studio turned out. Fuck.

Today I'm going to the last filming of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I already know that I'm going to cry like a little bitch.

I've been watching Craig since I was in eighth grade. Hell, one of the e-mail/ twitter songs helped me on the SAT ("ephemeral"). I'm out of college now & when the news came that he was calling it quits I was crushed because all I ever wanted was to write for the Late Late Show. Like he says though, he's not dying, he'll still be doing all sorts of things & Corden genuinely seems like a lovely person.

Anyway, I plan on writing down every detail as soon as I leave the studio so I can relay it back here for anyone that's interested.
