What I fear in 2020 is that what the left will do is “cancel” any democratic candidate for not ticking off enough boxes on their woke/unproblematic checklist. I already know the left loves to pick any and every issue apart on some bizarre quest for moral purity. Every mound of dirt is a hill to die on. That holier than thou mindset results in apathy; they end up not voting because no candidate is perfect enough for them. Then we end up with 4 more years of Trump just because a candidate may have said something 12 years ago about polyamorous lithiosexuals or some dumb shit.
