Pumpkin carving is one of my enduring spooky season traditions and this year, I figured there was no better design than my current muse, Doctor Strange (and his Cloak, of course). The pumpkin I chose turned out to be the gooiest, thickest-skinned one I've ever worked with, quite gnarly on one side and a perfect canvas on the other. For the pattern, I put my own spin on one of the behind-the-scenes promotional stills from the first movie, and I'm pretty satisfied with the overall result. The lines may not have the surgical precision that Stephen was once famous for, but I'd like to think he'd be flattered all the same. 😉 Happy Halloween! 🎃🖤

"Chosen"

My newest OTP. ❤️ I absolutely adore these two and the headcanons that have blossomed from their dynamic. I’ve been working on fleshing out some of these ideas (over 100k words in rough drafts so far) and hopefully will be able to start sharing them soon. For now, enjoy this showcase piece of our favorite sorcerer and relic pair! ∞

This piece, "The Keeper of Knowledge," serves as both a summary of the life I've lived so far and the catalyst for a new beginning. Each of the four hundred uniquely designed books lining the shelves behind the Keeper represents an integral part of me—detailing hobbies, interests, fandoms, personal attributes, and more. The composition required over 500 hours to finish, so easily my most elaborate project to date, but I'm quite pleased with and proud of the result. Here's to the foundation of the past, the serenity of the present, and the aspirations of the future. 💛
