Artemis had been resting her head for a few hours now, trying to somehow clear some of the fog in her thoughts. There had to be a memory of how she got here somewhere in her head. Although, she heard footsteps which quickly caused her eyes to snap open. “My goodness, you scared me...”

“someone’ll figure it out at some point. until then we’ve just gotta, uhm - - not all die because someone gets too angry.” it’s a weaker joke because hey, that’s a legitimate thing that could possibly happen. especially with rumors about titans popping up. “i think - - i think she’s just unhappy? i don’t think i’d be happy if i was in her place, y’know? and it’s not okay for her to take it out on other people but at least it’s a reason instead of just being nasty for no reason.” it’s probably more open then he should be, but ganymede doesn’t think artemis will tell hera about this interaction anytime soon. eyes fall to the weapon when the goddess’ do and he nods. “uhm, yeah, but it was ages ago and i was never really good with one. why?”
“That’s the real challenge isn’t it? Not finding out how this occurred but surviving each other.” Even though she was partially joking there was some truth lingering beneath her words. She believed he was somewhere in the same realm of thought as her on that specific subject, history had shown before that there were dangers when it came to these people being together. “I see why she is unhappy, Zeus has not been good to her. That just doesn’t change the fact that she cannot treat innocent people as if they are her toys. You cannot be blamed for Zeus’ decision.” For the most part she agreed with Ganymede, he had a good view on what was happening, though she felt protective of him which did change her view slightly. She worried for him when it came to Hera, she even worried for herself on occasion. Artemis began to smile again upon hearing his response to her question. The girl took his hands, placing her bow into it. “I will teach you how to use it, might be helpful to you... Might even make you feel a bit more human again.”

“I assure you, I’m just as in the dark about it as you are. Some people believe we are to make amends with them, but with the people brought back I can’t see that being the reason.” To say she had no bridges to rebuild would be a lie, so she bit her tongue on the matter of her own ‘imprisonment’, so to speak.
“I’m glad to know that someone else is wondering the same things I am. It feels a bit strange being the most clueless of the clueless.” She nodded as she tired to deduce the situation that was placed in front of her. The fact that answers were so far was beginning to agitate her. “There’s nothing that makes entire sense, most theories just ask more questions.”

“Well, this as only as far as I know, and I know some of the others arrived here weeks before me.”
“You know more than I do.” Artemis let out a sigh as she adjusted the position of her quiver. “We still have a long way to go, anything can happen.”

“Of course, anything beats staring at the Palace walls. Where do you want to look first?”
“I mean that can get a bit daunting after awhile.” She smiled before observing her surroundings. “Perhaps the garden?”

“Jealousy is green, and Hera looks lovely in it.” Hestia swung an arm around her niece’s shoulder. “Don’t worry dear heart, I’m more than happy that you exist.”
“What does she not look good in?” A smile found her lips as she looked to the other woman. “Then that’s perfectly enough for me.”

“Well, there would be no use of worrying would there? If there was anything that could be done, one you gods would have fixed it already.”
“Being moderately concerned for what is happening would simply be the sane thing to do. If no one cares then nothing will ever get fixed.”

“You’re telling me.” It wasn’t that she was unused to living with others. A life under the sea with her fifty sisters had made her fairly tolerant when it comes to other people. At least, that’s what she liked to believe. However olympus seemed to bring out the worst in people. “My son has never not been in danger however, so I must disagree. This may be a dangerous period for them but the people they have brought haven’t exactly had the easiest lives when they had one….It’s concerning.”
Artemis had never truly understood the hate that many felt for the mortals, instead seeing some as friends. No matter if they were mortal or not if someone was innocent and good they could be befriended. “The reason why they are here leaves me confused. What is the purpose?”

he isn’t too bothered - - he never really minded this, the serving, the smiles and the company of the gods. or maybe he was just making the best of a bad situation. he can’t even really tell and maybe never could. “i’ll be sure to be extra careful, then.” the youth laughs softly before growing somewhat more somber as the goddess’ eyes are drawn to the land about them - - his own eyes travelling to the sky that always seems so close that he could touch it so far up here. “maybe athena’ll figure it out now that she’s here. this seems like something she’d be able to make sense of.” shoulders rise and fall in a shrug before he cracks a thin smile and shrugs again. “still - - easier to say it’s my fault than make her angry or something. i can deal with envious, but angry is - - not great.”
“I don’t think you can ever be too careful.” A smile found its way back onto her lips as she looked to him. Her attention then moved to their surroundings once again, letting her mind wonder momentarily. She wanted there to be an answer and the lack of one was causing her more agitation than it should have. “Perhaps... There has to be someone who can figure this out.” That was what she kept telling herself anyway. Artemis moved her eyes back to him and shook her head once they met his. “It was not your choice to come here, to be chosen by Zeus, and yet she still blames you for it. She dislikes me just because I exist. She has no right to treat you that way.” She let out a heavy breath before looking down to her weapon. “Have you ever shot a bow before?”

“Well, not everyone-everyone, but the number seems to be increasing by the hour,” Iris explained and fought the urge to roll her eyes when she asked for Apollo. Instead, she smiled gently and said, “I have actually! You’ll be happy to know he hasn’t changed a bit, and he even offered to let me help him paint the great hall.”
“I know it’s usually the more the merrier but I’m not exactly sure that it’s a good thing.” Artemis furrowed her eyebrows as she started to think about what may happen in the future. “I’ve been looking for him but I haven’t found him yet. I’m happy to know he’s doing alright though.”

“Not that I’m aware of. There are the usual tensions of course, but that’s to be expected.”
“How can there not be tension when it’s all of us in one place?” Artemis almost laughed at the truth that lied within her joke. “I’m glad nothing too serious has happened though.”

“I love my sister, but even I will admit that she is a champion at holding unnecessary grudges. You cannot help your existence.”
“If only I would have not been created, as if that was any of my control.” Artemis shook her head. “If jealous was a shade she’s worn every one.”

“Well if the theory is true we could possibly all be doomed. I don’t see Zeus apologising for anything,” Hermes sighed. “I haven’t seen Apollo so far today, he could be in the garden sketching, at the springs, taking his chariot out, or with Hyacinth,” Hermes listed, “I can help you look if you want some company?”
“Then let’s just hope it isn’t.” Artemis painted a smile on her lips as she tried to keep the conversation from turning south. There was enough time to be negative later, she figured there would be more than enough in face. “I would appreciate that, if you have some time.”

“You realize we’re on Olympus again, don’t you? A disagreement was bound to happen even if everyone were thrilled to be back. The only worry I hold is how the mortals will fare when it happens, and who will get caught in the crosshairs.” She may as well not tell her about the Titan she’d run into and that there were likely more somewhere there. No doubt that would just put her more on edge than needed right then.
“The close proximity between us all will only make it worse.” Artemis shook her head, not approving of anything that was currently unfolding. “These mortals are in more danger now than ever.” The relationship with the mortals was not usually not a good one, now anything could happen. She worried for the innocent.

“Well that’s just it, isn’t it? No one has any idea.”
“I think we’ll figure it out, we must. Has anything too serious happened since everyone has started to arrive?”

Hermes nodded, “no one knows why. Though some people tend to think it’s because whoever trapped us here want us to apologise for the why mortals were treated centuries ago.” He gave her a concerned look, “so am I, which is why I’m really glad to see you, he’s more likely to talk to you than anyone else.”
“That does make sense. Anger can do many things, perhaps even bring all of us together to face our mistakes. Mortals should not have been treated the way they were.” Artemis believed they could be friends, though others did not agree. “I hope so, though I need to find him first.”

“What confuses me is what or who would place us in here? What has that sort of power?”
