It's calming and stabilizing energy is calming and soothing; so useful in lifting feelings of loneliness. It balances the emotions and the yin yang energy of the universe. Rose quartz is a stone of love! It carries a feminine energy of compassion and nurturing, and attracts new love, passion, and closer bonds with those you love. From time to time people will hand me a sack of jewelry, some broken, that they have salvaged from a Grandmother’s jewelry box or attic, or things that they just don’t wear any more. For me it’s like being handed a precious Christmas gift. Their refuse is a bag of possibilities!

This design features blue rhinestone components salvaged from a broken bracelet. They are a rich, deep blue and sparkle like diamonds. I’ve combined them with hand-twisted wire, silver plate and sterling components, and finished them off with a beautiful, classic freshwater pearl. Sterling silver ear wires complete the look.

They would be just at home during the Victorian era as they are today, and can be kept on for your evening festivities after work.

Jasper, the "supreme nurturer," is an amazing, elemental Earth stone that comes in many colors and patterns. It has been revered as a gemstone since ancient times, and is mentioned in the Bible. Although it is a relatively common stone, and comes in many different colors, it was considered a highly valuable stone in ancient times.

“Zaza” is a powerful bracelet of kyanite flat ovals and labradorite rounds, with a magnificent sunstone centerpiece, surrounded by sterling silver clusters.   These kyanites are such a deep blue that they're violet. Kyanite is known for it's ability to instantly align the chakras. It is calming, and useful when trying to get into a meditative state. Wire-wrapped cowry shells feature glass and wooden red, black and green beads! This is a celebration of Mother Africa. Many African countries feature red black and green in their flags, and the colors also represent the Pan African movement.

The showpiece of this design is the cowry shell, which was used for currency in ancient African and Chinese cultures. The cowry also represents Goddess protection, and is an African female symbol connected to the ocean. Taking a look at he cowrie on either side, it is easy to see why it is associated with the female body. It is a celebration of the miracle of life!

Pele is named for the Hawaiian Volcano Goddess, not the soccer player. This is because peridot is a gemstone that forms in a volcano. All of the green stones are believed to attract prosperity, and in addition peridot is a high-vibrational heart chakra stone. It is prized as a beautiful stone of protection against negative energies. The birthstone of the month of August, it is also the 16th Anniversary stone, so be sure to gift your loved one with peridot!
