This is a Tarot Card I made of a young Sirius Black - the star. Materials: This card is printed on matte card stock. Process: I used watercolour, ink and white gouache to make this card.
YOOOOO! This is on my shop for SALE! A beautiful ‘the star’ (get it?) tarot card featuring our very own Sirius Black as a young man. The ‘Sirius’ constellation is above him, but some of his family members also have their constellations up there. See if you can find them! And reblog if you please :)
I’ve been thinking about this and I’ve decided I think that Tonks was handled badly as a character. She always seemed queer coded to me (as did Lupin), and her relationship with Lupin seemed forced, erasing both of those characters queerness at the same time. Efficient! Tonks had a lot of potential as a badass queer (poc? yes.) female character. She was pushed into the sidelines, first because of her depression over Lupin and then because of her pregnancy, neither which are actual reasons for her absence in the narrative. Much more to say but this is getting long.
(edit: mugglenet pointed out that remus and tonks being together did not necessarily erase their queerness. True indeed! Still, those characters never got a chance to explicitly display/explore their queerness in the books, I think partly due to them being in a relationship with each other. Does that make sense? I’m trying to work out the nuances of the situation. )
Hermione
Ron’s Room.
Hermione doing cool potions.
Bellatrix as a young girl fascinated by horrific ideas.
Forget Fantastic Beasts, I want five feature length movies called The McGonagall Chronicles.
I was going to do a tarot deck of HP and maybe I still will but here is Sirius my boi, whom I love. He lookin so happy. Fandom made me like Sirius, actually. Canon Sirius I used to hate.
