This illustration is December’s Owl Post postcard! December is all about spending time with loved ones, which is why I wanted to illustrate this family scene✨ It’s warm, full and cosy; exactly how I imagine Christmas at the Burrow would feel.
There is no specific place in time in the books for this scene, I just wanted to create this loving scene🧡🥰 They’re happy and together and we deserve that!

Wizarding World Illustrations
I look forward to posting these soon! I've ordered them already, but the holidays come with many extra printing jobs for my usual printer, so I'm crossing my fingers that these will arrive on time this month!
If you're looking for something else fun for the holidays, maybe take a look at my Christmas Cards!
I have two wonderfully festive sets available on my website:
-You and Ron never get along well
-Your from Ravenclaw while he’s at Gryffindor but at Great Hall he’d be pissing you off already making you roll your eyes at him
-Your friends with Hermione and Harry but not him
-It was Summer time and Hermione told him to invite you over and Harry told Ron too tell you to come over as well
-And when he did
-His mom loves you
-Like he would be standing there confuse
-He would think how could his own mom loves this girl???
-The four of you were at the garden
-You took a book with you
-It was a book from the shelves that interest you and Molly insisted you to take it
-It was Bill’s old books
-The silence was deafening, Harry and Hermione trying to strike a conversation you being lost in the book and Ron was busy munching down his sandwich
-Hermione nudge Harry on his side as if these two were having a conversation using their eyes
-”Harry and I will be helping Molly, you two stay here.” Hermione was fast enough to pull Harry by his wrist and bolted back inside
-You knew Hermione was going to leave you with this Weasley with you alone some day.
-”Do you ever stop reading?” Ron asked looking at you
-You looked back at him and down his sandwich “do you ever stop eating?”
-He did an overdramatic offended face at you which cause you to smile at him
-You were back to reading but ever 5 seconds you hear Ron releasing sighs he scoot closer to you trying to read but he sat up to pluck at flowers next to him
-”Bored Weasley?” You asked not averting your eyes away from the book in your hands
-”Maybe if you would talk to me I wouldn’t be.” He said you looked at what he was doing taking flowers and removing the leaves
-”Why don’t we talk without getting on each other throats.” Ron ask making you smile
-”I don’t hate you Ron, but you started this.”
-”You just don’t have any idea what you look like when your mad, just when I look at you from across the room you already look mad.” He smiled to himself
-”I like making you mad because I know I have your attention.” He said causing you to look at him while putting the book down.
-”Ron-” you were cut off when you both heard Hermione’s voice calling you two to come inside.
-He indicated his hands to you to help you stand up and you gladly took them
-You both walk back inside
-It was Harry who first noticed you hair
-”You have flowers on your hair.” Harry pointed his hair while he was smiling at you, raising a brow at him you looked over a mirror and saw the flowers Ron was plucking earlier
-You didn’t notice or felt them while you were reading and he was putting them on your hair.
-You smiled at the sight of it since it was pretty
-Sitting next to Ron you smiled at him “Thanks for the flowers I guess.” You looked away from him
-”You look pretty with them.”
-For once you and Ron didn’t bicker at one another.

Summary: Harry and Ginny spend some quality time at the burrow
Warnings: None, I think
A/n: Someone requested a Harry x Ginny fic, so here it is! Not my best work, but I figured I’d post it anyways! Enjoy!

It was summer, and Harry Potter was once again staying at the burrow.
He didn't mind staying there. Actually, he rather enjoyed it. For more than one reason.
First, it was much better than Privet Drive... Second, he would be staying with his best friend.
Third, he would get to enjoy Molly's amazing cooking!
And lastly, Harry would get to spend all summer with his newly found love.
Ginny Weasley.
***
They were sat on the couch, cuddling, when the now one-eared George Weasley came strolling by. "Oi, watch out with the PDA!" He exclaimed, causing Ginny to momentarily get up from the couch to hit him.
"Ouch!" George laughed it off. "What. do. you. want. George." Ginny fiercely asked.
That was one thing Harry had to get used to. Ever since they came home from Hogwarts, Ron had told the entire family about the two of them. Molly had been ecstatic, while Arthur chuckled like he already knew. The twins had by far been the worst... They didn't get mad or anything. Actually, they just laughed it off... But they kept messing with them, making teasing comments whenever they saw the couple.
"Mum wanted me to ask you if you wanted to join us, buying the last stuff for Bill and Fleur's wedding in four days." The twin casually asked. "No, we're good..." Harry finally, although awkwardly, said something. Though he probably didn't have to. It looked like Ginny had it all under control. "You sure?" George piped up again. "You'd be all alone... oop... that's what you want isn't it?"
At the last comment, George rushed away, laughing, before Ginny had time to react.
"Someday I'll get him." She said jokingly, but serious.
***
"Goodbye darlings!" Molly cheerily rushed everyone out of the door. "And you two," she looked sternly at Harry and Ginny. "No canoodling while we're gone."
Then she closed the door behind her and the couple was all alone.
"What d'you wanna do?" Harry tried to sound chill. Although he definitely wasn't. "What about quidditch?"
Ginny nodded before heading out the door yelling; "I call the good broom!"
Harry sighed, he was now stuck with the old heirloom broom, that really should be in a museum... unless... maybe Harry could get the broom before Ginny!
He rushed outside, searching for Ginny in the fields. He found her too. She was sprinting towards the old shed, but Harry knew a way to slow her down.
"Ginny!" He yelled, frantically waving his arms. "What? You sound panicked?" She answered him, slightly out of breath.
"Ginny!" Harry kept yelling, confusing the, now still standing, Ginny.
"What's wrong?" She asked as Harry was a couple of feet away from her. "Nothing!" He yelled teasingly, sprinting past her.
"I'm going to get you, Potter!"
Harry had definitely misjudged Ginny's velocity as she easily catched up to him. In one jump, she managed to tackle him to the ground.
Laughing, Harry turned around beneath Ginny on the ground. "That's cheating!" He exclaimed, laughing and out of breath.
"Not if you cheated first!" Ginny answered him, straightening herself so that her head was right above his.
"Merlin save me." Harry sighed, worrying Ginny. "What? Did I hurt you?" She looked frightened at the thought.
"No you moron," Harry smiled at the redhead. "It's just... How can I argue with you when you look that gorgeous?"
Ginny blushed slightly. "Well, I don't know. How can we argue if I do this?"
She leaned in, kissing him softly on his lips.
A kiss like that could hardly be found anywhere but with Ginny. Harry was ecstatic as he kissed back gently.
This was just what Harry needed. In the middle of a war, distrust and darkness, Harry had a little peak of sunshine. Ginny Weasley.
