Over the past year, there were plenty of special moments spent up high, close to home. This was one of them, up high on Foster Peak. The colours and exposure were fantastic, and Floe Peak looked most impressive from that particular perch.

This was a solo effort, but thankfully I had the tripod with me so was able to put together a self-portrait to convey the scale of the place a little bit better. Up high in the Rockies is my happy place and this image takes me right back and puts a smile on my face.
