AN "ISA" AGENT, JUST LIKE THE AGENT 007
TRANSACTS IN HIGH VALUE PROPERTIES AND SAVES THE WORLD
In the dead middle of the scorching Summer of 2023, right before the degenerates in power unleashed the Great UFO Scared that followed the great depopulation scare of 2020, our ISA agent found himself deep behind enemy lines in the land of the sweet tea and fried chicken: South Carolina.
The mission came through the morse code on the local 80's hits radio station, broadcasted to the entire 1.8 m people in the area, intercepted by a small few, and decrypted and understood by only one: yours truly.
A charismatic and well spoken individual, pleasant to talk to, firm on his convictions, knowledgeable on prospecting and selling, decisive when setting up appointments and with some type of interest in real estate. Did anyone said that such individual can come with a cherry on top: bilingual?
Do you love a hectic environment of million dollar deals on the line and then suddenly, have to do data entry? Fuck no, not in a million years. But I tell you what: I take the job at the top of the pay scale and in four weeks we have two options: dropped down to ZERO and no longer a go, or keep the pay for another five months --then a renegotiation of the terms will take place and the $25 will either drop to ZERO or will be doubled.
Let's see about this position
Are you a charismatic and well-spoken individual with a passion for real estate and a talent for building relationships over the phone?
The answer is "yes". Well spoken and articulate in both English and Spanish, always striving to connect with people and have pleasant and professional relationships. My passion for real estate is just getting started and this is a great entry level position.
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy assisting with administrative tasks?
The "fast paced environment" yes, the "administrative tasks" is a fuck no for me. But you see, there are elements of a job that need to be completed regardless of whether you like them or not.
If you're looking for a rewarding role that offers competitive hourly pay, performance bonuses, and the chance to work with a high-producing real estate team, The Belcher Group has an exciting opportunity for you as an Inside Sales Agent (ISA) & Assistant in our South Charlotte Ballantyne office!
All right people, this sound interesting. Tell me more!
About The Belcher Group: The Belcher Group is a top-performing real estate team operating under the RE/MAX Executive brokerage. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our clients and achieving remarkable results in the Charlotte metro area. Our team is known for its professionalism, collaborative spirit, and dedication to excellence.
Sounds like you see yourselves as one of the sharpest tools in the tool box when it comes to real estate.
Position Overview:
As an Inside Sales Agent (ISA) & Assistant, you will play a crucial dual role in our team's success.
So not one but two roles in one? Remember the more you try to do the less you fucking accomplish, but let's keep going.
On one hand, you will proactively engage with potential clients, nurturing leads, and setting appointments for our experienced real estate agents. Your fantastic phone voice, personable demeanor, and persuasive communication skills will be instrumental in fostering meaningful connections with potential buyers and sellers.
This "fantastic phone voice" sounds like trying to hire a former pop band leader whose band couldn't make it to the top of the charts --or the bottom, and he had to settle for a phone job in a cubicle. But other than than, it sounds great that the job in an office, on the phone calling people and answering calls, and most importantly setting up appointments so the agents who are scared shitless to make a phone call, can go and get a signature.
On the other hand, you will provide valuable support to our team through various administrative tasks. Your organizational prowess and attention to detail will ensure that essential assistant duties are efficiently handled.
Fuck these administrative tasks, seriously. But hey, all jobs have something that we do not like.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Prospecting: Initiate outgoing calls to provided leads, follow-up on inquiries, and engage in lead generation efforts to identify potential clients.
The biggest fear of any REA: the phone. So sure, I can call and engage provided leads, follow up with inbound inquiries (low hanging fruits), and call random people here and there? Sure, I can do it. You guys will be blown away by this guy.
Relationship Building: Cultivate rapport with prospective clients over the phone, actively listening to their needs and providing them with relevant information.
Talk to people, have pleasant and interesting conversations, have them calling back and setting appointments --the ISA closing.
Lead Nurturing: Conduct ongoing follow-up with leads through various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and text messages.
Database maintenance to keep the office at the heart and center of the homeowner's mind so that when they decide to do it, then they call you and not their brother in law.
Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments for clients to meet with our real estate agents, coordinating schedules efficiently and maintaining accurate records.
Set up appointments for REA and make sure the client is interested enough that will be signing an agreement. Not just set up an appointment, but conclude the first leg of the sale.
Administrative Support: Assist the team with administrative duties, including data entry, document preparation, organizing files, and managing team calendars.
One minute this person is setting an appointment to list a million dollar home and the next minute, you want me to do data entry? Seriously.
Bonus Eligibility: Demonstrate excellence in performance to qualify for performance-based bonuses.
Tell me the numbers baby: how much in activities, appointments, showing up on time, etc.
Requirements:
Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication skills with a well-spoken and engaging phone voice, able to build rapport effectively.
Slam dunk motherfucker. Thanks for calling, please read me your 16-digit credit card number followed by expiration and cvv.
Charismatic Personality: A great personality with a talent for connecting with clients and making them feel comfortable and valued.
You know guys, something funny happened on my way here. But you and I don't give a shit because I am not your friend: I am a professional.
Sales Acumen: Prior experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or a related field is advantageous, but not mandatory; a natural ability to persuade and convert leads is highly valued.
No sales experience necessary? wtf man you are hiring someone with no experience on the phone is a huge mistake because only about 20% of the population can make phone calls and the other, receive them.
Real Estate Passion (Preferred): A genuine interest in the real estate industry and a willingness to learn about market trends and property offerings.
I am interested and learning everyday. Is this a "genuine" passion? Not sure yet but what I have seen, I really like.
Flexibility: The ideal candidate will be available to work from 11 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer some flexibility in scheduling for the right candidate.
Why not an 8 - 5? But just like the administrative tasks, if that is the schedule then that is the schedule. One pro is that there is no traffic at that time driving to and from.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay: The Inside Sales Agent (ISA) & Assistant position offers a competitive hourly wage between $20 and $25 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Get ready to pay $25 right off the bat and if you do not like me, then hire your $20 an hour.
Performance Bonuses: Eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
Get ready because I am going to max them out.
Comprehensive Training: Receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to enhance your sales and customer service skills.
Let's talk about training and mentorship. A one off? This is how you login to the system and good luck. Or an ongoing training and mentorship to keep growing with the company
Growth Opportunities: The potential for career advancement within our high-producing real estate team.
Let's talk about the career advancement and the timeline that it will take to get there. Would the company sponsor a REA certification? Or obtaining a license as an ISA?
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Benefits:
401(k)
Hmmm how about health insurance?
License/Certification:
Real Estate License (Preferred)
Well yes, I also want a pony with an engaging voice, great at prospecting and sales, doing administrative tasks, sales, appointment setting, making coffee and on top of that have a real estate license ready to go? All of that for $20 an hour? wtf this place should be called "The Plantation Real Estate".
Work Location: In person
Oh absolutely I will do the in-person thing, no more fucking computer nonsense.
