Okay before we get started can we just take a moment to appciate college student Akaashi who has the ultimates fall college boy heartthrob vibe with his turtlenecks and long coats
like you know he has multiple people who are crushing on him
senior Akaashi just hits different
so you’re a foreign exchange student who’s also in the same major as him and although he’s not the one who’s showing you around and stuff, he sits right in front of you
and you’re just like ‘wow this place has great food and hot guys? now that’s what I call a win’
honestly Akaashi sees you but there’s no way in hell he’s going to make any type of attempts to introduce himself without having a good reason to
so you’re just stuck kind of admiring him for your first few days until your department decides that y’all need to have an orientation for you which of course includes everyone going out to eat
Akaashi comes too and you guys somehow end up sitting right beside each other
since you’re the foreign student there’s a lot of things you don’t know yet and you’re still learning about the culture and environment so you’re kind of awkward during the beginning of this little orientation
don’t fear though Akaashi is next to you and quietly helps in his own ways by making little side comments and stuff
eventually you guys get talking a little more once you start asking about sports in Japan and Akaashi is kinda interested since he did play volleyball and still kinda does now
and that spiral into a whole conversation about literature and you guys comparing Japanese literature to the literature from your country
and everything is going great until you drop food on your shirt and now there’s a pretty obvious stain on it
Akaashi is once again to the rescue tho
mans offers you his cardigan and your heart kinda goes 🦋🦋🦋
of course you take it because who wouldn’t??? and it smells so nice and is the perfect size for the outfit you’re wearing and Akaashi finds himself thinking that you’re cute
too bad neither of you guys have balls lol
this then proceeds to you getting his number so you can return the cardigan and there was definitely no other intentions than that
by this point the event is almost over and so y’all say bye to each other before your guide takes you back to wherever you’re staying but not before you get to see Akaashi’s littler smile and wave
and this is when you realized you were whipped
over the course of your time as an exchange student you and Akaashi of course started to get a little closer and by the time you had to leave Akaashi was already your number 1 most texted person
you were gonna miss your discussion buddy :(
both of y’all still haven’t confessed but you decide to change that by giving him a love letter inside a book you were talking to him about and giving that book to him
and guess what? he had the same idea so now you get a book with his favorite literature and a love letter
now you get to decide how you want your relationship to go cus my brain cells be dead
