Limnos reveals its beauty gradually, but this unique volcanic landscape will win you over immediately! 

Millions of years ago, volcanic hot lava poured out from the bowels of the earth and only when it came in contact with the sea water, it froze ... 

As an effect, impressive natural sculptures were created to which the locals gave the also impressive name ... "fragkokefala"!

The dozens of shades of yellow frozen lava and the globular geological formations, next to the scenic coves by the sea, are certainly worth a visit!

After spending a weekend time at surf club keros , we just couldn' t choose from loooads and loads of beautiful photos, so we decided to upload a liitle more than we usually do!

The truth is that after so much relaxation and contact with nature it was so difficult to return to our old everyday routine..

This surf club consists of a perfect organised camp and a surf station, both located at keros beach, a stunning bay in the north-east part of Limnos island , described by the experts of water sports as ''turquoise carribean type waters, safe sandy beach amd meltemi wind'' .

More of that, the wonderful about this place is the fact that is surrounded by a beautiful natural environment, which has been declared as a protected area of natural beauty by Natura 2000,including sandunes and natural salt lakes as well as wettlands ,where you can see rare spieces of birds like flamingos!

Watching the warm glow of the setting sun is so boring..(No one ever said!)

Our feeling about the beach is .....we just love it!

These images make it so hard to believe we live in such a material world..a small caravan and a little boat seem more than enough for an easy summertime living!

Change of scenery today..rainy days are back in our island...hope not for very long..!

But..you know us,we never miss a chance of embrassing these unpredicted small surprises of life!

We went out in the storm and grabbed some rain to keep us cool those long lazy and warm summer nights who are about to come.

After all, who doesn't love to feel the rain in the summertime?

Living in a beautiful but pretty small place, like this lovely island of ours, isn't always that easy as it may seem...

Well, we mean moments are easy and life can give you pleasures you have never imagined before.., but there may come a time when you feel trapped, or perhaps even imprisoned by the narrow geographical limits that surround you, or more often by the close minds of the people, your fellow citizens , who tend to judge every move you make and prevent you from expressing what's inside you...

Today we say no to everything that keeps us away from expressing our selves ,we open our minds and hearts ,and we choose to thrive and bloom ,despite the bitterness of those who can't understand us!hurray! (enjoy your life!)
