Drawing rocks.
An inky moody sky in the sketchbook!
Inky tree!
Donāt usually draw boats, but they were in my sight line so they became inky triangles on my paper. Absolutely gorgeous coastline. So many lines, so little time.
One of my drawings in my sketchbook of rocks in Dhoon Beach in Scotland. Playing with lines and making marks. All parts of The Lines of my Earth.
Drawing in the sunshine in Scotland, now Iām back in England and itās raining. Drawing outside is the best feeling! It takes a little time to adjust but it gives you this sense of calm and magic when youāre only surrounded by nature.
Just look at it! Beautiful trees, beach and rocks. Of course it wasnāt sunny the whole time. It just feels magical and dreamy!

The Lines of my Earth is a drawing project by meee, Grace Owen Art. I explore nature with drawing and painting and try to find the magic in our surroundings.
