I don’t see lipstick as a symbol of strength or sexuality per se. I see it more as a sign of femininity, and that means so many different things to different people and across time…It’s constantly evolving. Sometimes femininity is strength, sometimes it’s sexuality, but it’s usually complex.

I wear lipstick because I like variety and switching different looks depending on my mood. It is a bold statement that allows me to express myself and symbolizes my strength and confidence in myself. This color is by Black Radiance #5117. It is a deep plumpish purple and I like to wear it when I want a subtle yet slightly noticeable lip color to coordinate with my outfit and makeup.
