Empty homes with chained up doors, remnants and items supposedly belonging to someone you don’t know, realizing your team lacks a player at an odd time . . . an empty bed next to yours with a name you don’t recognize.

It has never been a real problem until a certain gang of teenage humans, curious and desperate to find their way home to the human world, mess around and find out just what dark secrets Fortana keeps hidden in its pockets.

Adel, a 16 year old human in the Elemental branch, takes interest in these alleged missing children and takes it upon herself to solve the case — though her pursuit does not receive the amount of faith and support it should. No one takes her and her “silly obsession” with the missing children seriously — aside from her little band of misfits:

Rowan. Sweet, smart yet naive, they’re extremely loyal to those they love dearly; Hicks. He’s the angriest healer you’ve ever met; Davent. It’s never a dull moment when the class clown is around, and; hmm . . . isn’t someone else supposed to be here?

Facing the hierarchy, the twisted government, an equally twisted cult, life threatening adventures, and an unfamiliar world won’t be easy. But their dedication and love for each other deem strong enough to protect them as they venture through the unfamiliar world of Fortana.

And, of course, reuniting with long lost loved ones.
