My hand slipped and I sketched a bunch of Aruani family- featuring Baby Aster 💜 I was going for more of the manga/MAPPA style with this, dunno if I pulled it off (the trick is to make the eyes way larger and the noses way smaller than you think they need to be btw 😭✌️)

It's that balance. It's so hard to find.

He has to be stupid sometimes but not too stupid because he's actually very smart! But he can't be too smart because his eleventy billion insecurities and self doubting tendencies inevitably make him stupid. He will communicate and talk about his feelings because he's like that but he can't be barebones honest because he's worried about being a burden. He won't be too closed off because he holds an inherent belief that talking and getting things out is half the solution! But he'll keep his worries to himself because he has no value! He doesn't matter! He's expendable! He'll wear his heart on his sleeve but not too much because he's afraid of being abandoned but he will still give his whole heart into loving and caring for a person. He can be straight up sexy confident but not too confident so you have to make him give an excellent, smooth speech and then he breaks down backstage because oh god he doesn't deserve the applause. He has the capacity to lead while being scared as fuck but he's also very brave! The bravest! The scared-est! He'll come up with the most morally convuluted plan ever and then go vomit and torture himself for it. He doesn't think he's cute or hot or handsome or sexy but he does know what he does to Annie so ultimately you're left with a 10-hour segment pacing up and down your room fighting between "Ohhhhh, he would say that" and "Wait he would NOT fucking say that" before the claws of hell come and drag you away.

Halloween

“Honey! I’m back,” Armin announced, shutting the door behind him.

“You dropped the kids off at Eren’s?” Annie asked from the couch.

“Yep! They’re are all set for trick or treating with their aunt and uncle,” Armin strolled into the living room with a medicine bag in hand and plops down next to his wife.

Curiously, Annie put down her magazine. “So, what’s in the bag?”

“A little something for tonight,” he winked before unceremoniously dumping the bag’s contents on the coffee table.

“I see you got condoms,” She sung seemingly amused, giving her husband a nod of approval.

“Well, I aim to please,” he chirped smoothly wrapping his arm around her.

Suddenly taken aback, her brow’s scrunched up in confusion as she inspected each rubber one by one. “Armin…Why are these all different brands and colors?”

He shrugged slyly, “Eh, it’s Halloween. He wants to dress up too.”
