I don't think they designed this place with a middle ground in mind. It's like a fucking seesaw of extremes.

Connor chuckled a little before shaking his head. “Nah. Even if I ‘ave, it might make things ‘round ‘ere more interestin’.” He smirked, looking over the asset. “You’re one of the Van der Woodsens, right?”
Interesting for masters and workers often never meant the same for assets and Thor wasn't exactly looking forward to whatever consequences there is for trouble, the last time it happened, Thor had suffered badly. "interesting for you I suppose..." He shrugs, "yeah, I am, is it that obvious?"
“S’weird. All the assets are bein’ so good recently. No trouble, no escape attempts. Not complainin’, but it’ll end up puttin’ the guards outta work,” he joked before sipping at his coffee after a shift that had just dragged on for what felt like forever.

A wedding on the beach in formal wear, Thor doesn’t think he’s had that in a while, in fact he had thought he would never see something like this, especially not on this island, but this is nice, almost makes one forget the reality of a place like this.
But Thor stands there and smiles, this is a happy day, he should show happiness, at least for his brother.
Donald smiles as he catches his brother at the wedding and figures he should go up to him. The man excitedly greets his brother with a wave, then ran up to him and hugged him.
“Thor! You made it, handsome. And you look really great.”
He could feel his brother's excitement radiating off the other, it was almost contagious, almost. But Thor returns the hug nonetheless and smiles back.
"You look even better, as you very well should. I see you finally figured out how that tie should work. I seem to remember you always having a battle with these temperamental ties."

Francis was used to quiet- in fact, he rather enjoyed it. He could easily sit in a place full of people and never make small talk. However, when someone passed by him and he heard something hit the ground, he felt rather obligated to let the person know. “Hey you um, you dropped something,” he cleared his throat slightly and calling after the other, hoping the guy hear him before leaving.
Thor was startled by the voice and pretty much jumped in surprise, proceeding to drop more things onto the ground. It was stupid, the guy wasn't even being a threat, he's gotta get his panic under control because it was getting ridiculous.
Turning around, he tries to put on a smile, "Sorry, I...I was thinking about something else and I'm...I'm a bit of a klutz these days...thanks...thanks for letting me know..."
It had been a while since Calix had last been to the gym and with nothing else to do, the asset had headed there. He was currently doing chin ups and snorted softly when he felt someone looking at him. “You know, if you take a picture, it’ll last longer.”
“I don’t exactly have a camera…” Thor shrugged, “And I don’t have the patience to draw anything…” He had come to the gym to maybe punch something, to be alone at least but clearly that wasn’t gonna happen. What the guy doing though is pretty impressive. “You’re pretty good at that…”
