a/n: i’m a virgin and i’m still a bit reluctant about writing sex scenes😭 also, my friend was in the other room making out with my cousin as i wrote this and puffed on my vape, i’m such a loser. f my chungus life😔 i’m sorry that this is a bit rushed, but i really wanted to post part 2 tonight!!! i tried to dust it off as best as i could but i still think it needs some work. also, please tell me if this is worth continuing and i’ll try my best to do a part 3 that’s longer and contains piv and blood sucking because i know that’s what you guys want. anyway, have fun reading and don’t be shy to ask to be on my taglist! ;)
find part 1 right here—> 🧛🏻
eddie looked down at you, head cocking to the side. “what, cat got your tongue?” he took a step closer, leaves crunching underneath his reebooks. you always forget that being a vampire has its perks, still trying to get used to his unhuman speed and enchanted senses. “har har.” you said sarcastically, even though your heart was beating so hard you could hear it in your ears—and he probably did, too.
“what’s next, big bad vampire? you gonna suck up all my blood?” you blurted out before you could think twice, a blush creeping onto your face. you bit the inside of your cheek, eyes searching eddies.
“if you insist.. i just might.” he purred, dragging out the “if”.
you could blame it on the drinks you had earlier tonight. say it was the alcohol talking, not you. but what was his excuse? maybe he was playing around, and you were just reading too much into it. but the way he looked at you right now told you he was only half-joking.
eddie brushed a strand of your hair away to reveal the nape of your neck, making goosebumps raise all over your body. your eyes darted away with unusual nervousness.
“wait, but are you really going to though?”
“what?”
“suck up all my blood?”
you mumbled, reluctantly meeting his eyes again. eddie laughed, pointing at you as he pretended to wipe away tears and everything. “very funny, munson.” you rolled your eyes, arms crossing over your chest while you leaned against the tree. “did you—you really thought i was gonna do that?” he said between laughs, holding his stomach.
“i don’t know! what if you’re like—really hungry and you can’t control yourself or something, huh?” you threw your arms up in the air, having to bite back a smile in order to keep a serious face. yeah, you were definitely reading too much into things sometimes. “what happens then?!” you insisted, standing up straight and lightly punching his arm. he stumbled back, the laughter eventually dying down. a beat passed before he spoke again, a hint of bemusement in his voice, “are you really that scared of me?”
“no,” you said with a scoff, arms crossing again in defiance.
“you are!” he said in a sing-song voice, poking at your side.
you slapped his hand away. “am not!”
“really?”
“really.”
“are you sure, because—“
“positive.”
“if you say so…” he turned away slowly, hands up in the air as a form of surrender. you finally thought he was done with his little charade, a sigh escaping past your lips as you shook your head.
but within seconds, he had you pinned against the tree again. you let out a groan as your back hit the wood, blinking up at him, confused. his smirk faltered. “shit—i’m sorry. did that hurt?”
“real smooth.” you tried to play it off, but it was hard to ignore how awfully close he was. he grinned, pupils turning into slits, his guitar pick chain dangling as he loomed over you. “still not scared?”
“sorry, eds. but the tough guy act just doesn’t suit you.” his face dropped into a pout, and he looked down where your hand patted his chest then back up at you as you started speaking again, “you should stick to d&d and your band… really, it’s a much better look on—“
this was stupid. really, really, really stupid. but stupid was eddie munson’s specialty, so instead of pulling away he desperately deepened the kiss in the hope that you would reciprocate. his brows knit together, eyes fluttering open before pulling away when he realized this was probably not happening anytime soon. or ever, actually.
“fuck, i—i’m sorry.” he stuttered, chest rising and falling even though he was a dead man that didn’t have the need to breathe. but this was all your doing. this was the effect you had on him. you made a dead man feel alive again. “i just—i can’t do this anymore—“
you stared at him in disbelief, trying to find your voice. “do what?” you muttered, voice barely above a whisper.
“pretend i'm not in love with you.”
your lips parted slightly, wondering if you’d heard that correctly. surely, the alcohol was starting to wear off by now. i mean, you didn’t even have that much—so it couldn’t be making you hear things, right? or maybe this was just one of your wildest dreams, and you were about to wake up any second now.
your fingers twitched at your sides, itching to touch him. “fuck, we're really doing this.” you breathed out with a tremor in your voice, talking more to yourself than to eddie.
before he could question you, you grabbed him by the collar of his hellfire shirt and dragged him down into a starving kiss. and after the initial shock wore off, his cold hands slid underneath your jacket and found your waist, squeezing as if you were about to fly away if he didn’t hold onto you hard enough. your body responded to his touch, back arching as you pressed against him, impossibly close now.
oh, this was so happening.
months of stolen glances, rooms thick with tension every time you two were left alone... it all came down to this. you didn’t care about the cold anymore, didn’t care about your obnoxious cheerleader friends and the party. all you could taste, feel, and smell was eddie and it was absolutely intoxicating.
he moaned into your mouth, fangs grazing your lower lip. your hands trailed up, tangling in his curls as you deepened the kiss. your body moved on its own, grinding against the growing tent in his jeans. eddie pulled away with a whine, and you almost whimpered at the needy sound. his head came down to rest against your shoulder, hands running up and down your back as he tried to pull himself together.
you swallowed, trying to catch your breath. “what’s wrong?” you said between pants, hands moving to cup his face as you tried to get him to look at you. “eddie?” you called out softly, earning another groan from him. he opened his eyes, pupils blown wide and brows pinched together. you fixed his bangs before tucking away a stray curl behind his ear.
“i want—i mean, i—“ he stumbled over his words, his brain malfunctioning at the situation. he’d never thought he would actually get this far, and now ⎯- footsteps.
your head whipped around at the sound of someone calling out your name. fuck. how did they find you all the way here? you turned back to eddie, but before you could say anything, he was already gone. your shoulders sagged in defeat, clicking your tongue in annoyance.
you fixed your hair before turning around and being met by the people you rode to the party with. oh, yeah. the party. your lips pressed into a thin line as they started asking questions. tina, one of the girls there, placed a hand on your lower back to guide you closer, claiming you had too much to drink and that she’ll drive you back home. you just nodded, glancing over your shoulder one last time before accepting your fate.
for now, at least.
working in it, everyone! :D i got like 30 likes and let me tell y’all I’M. SO. HAPPY. without further ado, i present to you… “gotcha.”
you walked through the forest, footsteps heavy and fingers pulling at your sleeves. a chill had settled over the town as night started to approach. october was finally starting to make itself known. you zipped your jacket all the way up, lower lip caught between your teeth as you thought.
“i just need some fresh air,” is what you told one of your friends. you pushed through the crowd of intoxicated teenagers, finally making it out of the crowded house and into the backyard. glancing up at the thick woods splaying out around the house, you thought, yeah, that’ll do it. and before you realized, your feet had already dragged you so far away that you couldn’t hear the obnoxious party music anymore.
good.
now you could finally feel sorry for yourself all alone without anyone all up in your face asking if it had anything to do with your best friend, eddie munson. because yes, yes it did. but not in the way people thought. it was not about his death anymore, but more so about him literally coming back to life. sort of. he was practically a walking corpse now; you could tell by the paleness in his skin—the unnatural red hue of his once brown eyes… and of course, the lack of a heartbeat. wait, what word did he use? oh, yeah— reanimated.
after the initial shock of it wore off, everything kind of clicked back into place. you two started spending more and more time with each other. which led you to this particular moment here in the woods, and why you came to patrick mckinney’s lame party in the first place. you were just trying to drown your thoughts with alcohol... just trying to submerge all these mixed feelings you were starting to have for him. and when that didn’t work out, you just fled the scene. you knew it was wrong. he was practically a part of the freakish upside-down creatures now.. and you were, well, still human.
your face was still full of color, heat rushing to your cheeks when he leaned in closer so he could hear you better.
your eyes still sparkled with life, pupils swallowing your irises whole at the thought of him.
and your heart was still beating wildly behind your ribs every time you felt his cold hands on you.
fuck, you were in deep.
your fingers drummed against your thigh as you continued your walk, exploring the familiar territory. at some point, it started to dawn on you how eerily quiet the forest was tonight compared to the other times you’d been here. the silence left a weird impression on you, making the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. your eyes dattered all across the trees as you curled in on yourself on instinct. ignoring the sensation that someone—or something—was watching you, you forced your feet to go one in front of the other. you tried to calm yourself down, saying it was all in your head, but the sound of a twig snapping behind you wasn’t very reassuring.
you stopped dead in your tracks, head whipping around. you pursed your lips, wiping your sweaty palms on the denim of your jeans. you told your mind to think rationally before anything—it was most likely just a squirrel. or maybe some other small animal that found shelter there. or maybe it was the two cups of jungle juice and half a can of beer you downed earlier playing tricks on you. that made sense... perhaps it was starting to kick in and maybe you were a little too tipsy to be out here all by yourself. you clutched the hem of your jacket between your fingers, twisting it around at the thought of heading back to the party to carry on with your plan of numbing your brain with cheap alcohol and maybe some nicotine if you were feeling sad enough.
maybe it was for the best.
maybe it was all you were meant to do.
you sighed, about to head back when you stilled again at the sound of footsteps approaching. oh, shit. you wanted to do something—wanted to run, wanted to scream. but your body was frozen in place and your legs felt like jello. in the soundless forest, the noise was booming in your ears and making your head hurt. you shut your eyes tightly, breaths turning short and quick as you braced yourself for what was about to come.
a minute or two passed before it was all quiet again. hesitating, you peeled one eye open. you blinked at the sight of a doe staring back at you, looking just as frightened as you did earlier. definitely not what you were expecting. your shoulders relaxed and you let out a breath you didn’t even realize you were holding. you laughed at yourself for being so silly, hand coming up to rest over your racing heart.
thank god. for a minute there, you actually thought you were about to get brutally murdered—like some useless side character in a horror movie.
you watched her leap away scared, jumping over a couple of fallen branches and disappearing into the shadows.
relief finally washed over you—but your peace didn’t last long.
“boo.”
you jumped as you felt a pair of hands pressing down on your shoulders and squeezing, spinning around as a high-pitched sound escaped you. your hands flew to hold onto eddie's arms as you tried to steady yourself. looking up at the familiar face, you swallowed down the lump that formed in your throat before giving him a light shove. “idiot!” you said, your voice trembling. you didn’t even hear him coming.
eddie chuckled as you shook your head disapprovingly, brushing past him. he just stood there laughing for a moment before catching up, his shoulder almost touching yours. “were you following me, you little creep?” you said, not bothering to look at him because your chipped nail polish was suddenly the most interesting thing in the world.
eddie let out a breath, almost like a half-laugh before answering you, “i was just driving home, saw you walking into the woods and i thought… wow, this chick is crazy going out there all alone.. at night.” he looked up and started rubbing at his chin as if he was recalling something from way before. “luckily, she has a super strong and ruggedly-handsome vampire best friend to protect her.” he grinned, nudging you with his elbow.
you smiled despite yourself. he was such a boy.
“oh yeah? wonder when i get to meet this guy…” you teased, stealing a glance at him.
eddie paused, placing a hand over his chest as he recoiled. “ouch! right in my non-beating heart.” you snorted, picking up your pace and moving ahead of him.
spinning around, you continued your walk backwards as you finally mustered up enough courage and locked eyes with him, a puzzled expression on your face. “weren’t you supposed to be at dustin's?” your head tilted to the side, trying to ignore the way the moonlight shined down on him and illuminated his pretty face.
eddie scoffed. “didn’t really feel like partaking in his stupid d&d campaign tonight, i guess.” he said with a shrug, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
silence fell between the two of you, and you let it linger for a couple more seconds before speaking up again, “stupid, huh? i thought you liked d&d.”
he averted his gaze, unsure of what to say. he did like d&d, and very much so. but what you and most people didn’t know is that he liked you more. so he made it his mission to make sure you were safe tonight, aware of the fact that patrick mckinney has been trying to get in your pants ever since you joined the cheerleading team and climbed up the social scale. hence the reason he threw this party with you being the first person he invited, with the sole purpose of getting you drunk and leading you up to his bedroom, sure to brag about what a night he had with you the next day at school.
well, not on eddie's watch. literally. he drove all the way out here, parking his van just down the street from his house and sat there, lighting a cigarette to help pass the time. he knew parties weren’t really your thing... which meant it wouldn’t take long before you left to do whatever else. and given the situation, he was right.
but eddie couldn’t say that out loud. probably shouldn’t. he’s not dumb; he noticed how on edge you seemed to be lately—he just figured that the whole 'him coming back to life' thing freaked you out more than you liked to admit. so a love confession would probably do more damage than good to you right now. eddie was about to come up with some dumb excuse, something along the lines of, “me and dustin just got into a fight” or “i can’t seem to get along with mike lately,” but you unintentionally cut him off.
“i know why!” your eyes narrowed suspiciously.
eddie licked his lips in anticipation. for a moment, he wondered if you really knew.
“you’re too busy doing—edgy, vampire stuff…” your eyes grew wide as you said that, fingers wiggling in the air. a crooked smile made its way onto his face as he watched you. “hunting for blood,” you raised your hands to frame your face, curling your fingers as if you were baring claws. “killing the innocent!” your voice went up an octave, dramatically pointing a fist at the sky.
you chuckled, watching his face turn serious.
“why, yes i am…” eddie said, putting an emphasis on the letter “s” as he tried his best transylvanian accent. “every night i hunt… the innocent, the pure!” he lunged at you, wrapping an arm around your waist to trap you in. “and tonight… my victim is right here.” his voice dropped lower, crimson eyes locking onto yours as he glanced down at you.
you managed to keep a poker face for a moment before your brows knit together and you burst out laughing, throwing your head back. eddie looked at you, completely and utterly smitten. he always thought you were so beautiful when you laughed. when he made you laugh.
only you had no idea.
you calmed yourself down, blinking up at him as you started to sniffle. “oh, no! mr. edward, i beg of you, have mercy on my mortal soul!” you said, putting on your best fay wray impression.
“how dare you? how dare you not use my full name?!” he stood up straight, flaring the side of his leather jacket as if it were a cloak. “i… am edward munson the bloody-handed, your dark lord! now bow down before me, mortal!”
you gasped, hand over your mouth. “i will not! i refuse to serve you!”
“then… you shall... perish!” eddie hissed, opening his mouth wide with his sharp fangs fully on display and leaning in as if he was about to bite you. your hand came up to grip his shoulder. he let out a breathy laugh, placing a small kiss on the nape of your neck which caused your shoulders to scrunch.
you pushed him off with a drunk giggle. “you know i'm ticklish—eddie!”
“that so?” he mumbled.
it didn’t take long before his fingers started attacking your sides until you couldn’t take it anymore. you laughed, tears welling up in your eyes. you managed to grab his hand, biting down on it in a playful manner. eddie flinched unexpectedly, which bought you some time, and you slipped away from his grasp.
“ouch! hey, that's my job!” eddie called out as he watched you vanish behind the tall trees.
you panted, smiling widely as you hid behind a thick oak tree, feeling its bark scratch against your back through the thin windbreaker.
“you can run… but you can’t hide!” you heard eddie, rolling your eyes at his dramatisms. you peeked from behind the tree, but no one was there. your brows furrowed in confusion—you swore you heard his voice coming from that direction. you hummed to yourself, about to walk away to find a new hiding spot but bumping directly into eddie's chest instead. your eyes trailed up slowly, finally landing on his face that had a wicked smirk plastered on it.
“gotcha.”
