TLC Musical Update #7
So we sort of ended up dropping off again unfortunately. A number of us are busy with personal stuff so we canāt be too available. We hope to be back around the end of this month. TLC Musical Update #6
Picking back up has been taking some adjustment for everyone, but overall itās going really well!
Act 1 has been fully scriptified and only needs some minor edits and we plan to start on Act 2 soon.
We have plans for a lot of good songs that weāre looking forward to sharing with you all.
Iāll try to pick up more on these updates in the coming weeks. As always, thank you all for your continued support, and please let us know if you have any questions, concerns, suggestions, or ideas for us!

Hey hey hey, I'm back again with a (short) list pf more annoying questions! I'm not asking for specific addresses, but would this musical be taking place in America, and if so, west east or middle of country? If u don't know, that's okay. I was just curious. And... I forgot the rest! Sorry again. I have some interested friends of of Tumblr, and they wanna know.
Actually, because the team is so scattered and there are limited funds and fans, etc, the musical will mainly be only a recording at first. By which I mean, we will record the soundtrack/some in between scenes, and use special effects to make whatās happening as clear as possible. After that, if possible, additional mediums may be used. There has been discussion of animation and/or ASL interpretation, but nothing concrete. For right now, weāre just focusing on the musical itself. Thank you for your questions!-Haley/likcthestar

Itās been pretty quiet lately so thereās not much to update on. We all just started back on school and work and all that jazz. Weāll probably get back to working regularly in a few weeks/months when schedules have settled down. TLC Musical Update #3
We reached our group member limit last Tuesday with the newest addition of Lanie, aka @kaisder!
Weāve been discussing some ways for other people to get involved later on in the process though! Note: these are still being talked about and are not decided on yet.
Beta listeners with musical experience to give feedback on the demo
It was suggested that we animate the musical when we finish, so we may open submissions from anyone interested in doing some animatics later on
If anyone remembers @kaisderās songĀ āFunnyā, weāre finding a way to work that in. Violet orchestrated it really nicely right here. Warning, the xylophone will make you feel feelings.
Hey, I love the idea of what you're doing, and I know you're a long way off from needing actors and the like, but I've got a suggestion for the production- you could have everyone record their lines and whatnot, and then you could animate it, like Heathers the Online Musical did
That's a great idea! We actually talked about animating it, way back at the beginning. It would definitely be a lot of fun to do that someday. Maybe if we're able to get everything done and polished we could find some people interested in working up some samples or something?? But, as you said, it's still very far away and up in the air for now. Thank you for your suggestion!

Hi! Unfortunately our group is really full so weāre no longer accepting members. In a few months (optimistically of course!), weāll be posting a demo that we would love to have feedback on.
Plus, if anyone has any general suggestions youād like us to consider, go ahead and popĀ āem into our submission boxĀ or send an ask! This project is for you guys too, and we want to put in things you guys will like.
Right now weāre actually discussing putting together a beta group of people who are interested in joining, though nothing has been decided yet. Weāll keep you posted.

Possibly. Weāre debating whatās going to happen in terms of recording the musical, but if we do need a cast, weāll make a post about auditions. Thatāll be way off in the future, though. Got to write the show first! - Violet
The Lunar Chronicles Musical Update #2
The past couple weeks have been somewhat busy for everyone, but hopefully weāll be picking back up soon.
Lyrics and music are coming along nicely! Yāall can look forward to a really cool opening, a couple of Cinder solos, and some realllly awesome Levana stuff.

The Lunar Chronicles Musical Update #1
(Iāll likely be making an update like this once a week or so)
Hereās an update on our progress so far!
We have decided for the moment to do a musical adaptation of Cinder only.
However, there are thoughts about adapting the rest of the books if this goes well.
Copyright issues have been resolved!
The fabulous @lottiesaurusva put together a few demo riffs for us! Hereās one.
