âItâs 3 a.m. Iâm still awake. Iâm losing sleep. Iâm losing myself. Iâm losing you. So I write tonight. I write for everyone of us who has suffered. Every one of us who is broken. Every one of us who has a damaged soul. Every one of us whose brilliant scarlet became just another red. This is for us, the broken ones. And for the ones who broke us in twoâ
â Nikita Gill, Why I Write At 3 AM
I would like to talk about Melanie Martinez
First things first, she does not make music about romanticizing children or child sexual abuse.
For the people who says that, it shows you do not pay attention to not only what her music is about and do not understand metaphors and symbolism. She uses child like themes to represent society. Her album Crybaby is a coming of age story about a girl named Crybaby who is constantly is treated like a child. So there for, itâs going to be a lot of child like antics to use to represent whatâs going on in her life. She uses things like dolls, toys, etc for metaphorical uses. I see people constantly using her songs as if itâs proof of romanticizing mental illness or sexualizing children, but do you even know the meaning behind her songs at all?
Also, Timothy Heller........
Melanie never said,â She didnât say no,â. What she said was,â she never said no to the choices we made together.â
It was a poorly worded sentence, but Melanie couldnât have forced herself on Timothy if she was high. Weeb makes you mellow, not violent like alcohol And, the supposed date that Timothy Heller said it happened was June 25, 2015. How could Melanie had done it at the time, if she was performing at a concert in New York. If you donât believe me, look it up.
There is so many evidence pointing the allegations to be false, but no one wants to look into it and just wanna see tweets from Melanieâs Twitter and hold it against her. If you donât wanna take my word for it, just watch these videos.
