Everything in magickal manifestation requires a sacrifice. If it is not a physical sacrifice, then it is a sacrifice of time and effort. But this is only true with intent.

Everything in magickal manifestation requires a sacrifice. If it is not a physical sacrifice, then it is a sacrifice of time and effort. But this is only true with intent.
The Seven Eternal Hermetic Laws of Nature
These laws have been found in many cultures around the world and make up the basis of most magickal belief systems. If followed, meditated upon, and understood, then Practical Magick is made intuitive.
The Law of Mentalism
This principle describes the universe as made from the substance of thought. Is it our thoughts, or the thoughts of God? Or Satan? Nevertheless, this universal rule emphasizes the power of our own thought and its ability to create reverberations in the ocean of thought around us. All physical matter holds its structure off a scaffolding made of thought.
The Law of Correspondence
Anything can be studied through its correspondences with other ideas. If you are studying spear fishing and you watch a video of a bear catching a fish, the law of Correspondence promises a lesson in fishing from the bear. The correspondence is fishing. It could be said that the bear is a fisher as well. In the same way, Occultist use symbolic correspondence in the matter around us to study the spiritual world.
The Law of Vibration
Every object in matter is only a collection of molecules rapidly vibrating. There is space in between those molecules. It is the rate of vibration that determines density. We are made of mostly space. Your thoughts affect molecules in and around you through vibration.
The Law of Polarity
All poles have two sides; two extremes. A magnet has a positive and negative side. So it is with energy within us and without. There will always be opposites but they are closer than they seem. They are always on the same pole or magnet. Two sides of the one coin.
The Law of Rhythm
There are highs and lows. Highs reflect the lows. Balance is key. Imagine a pendulum. The left movement reflects the right movement. Or a swingset. You must achieve balance to dismount, or else prepare for a turbulent landing. The movement forward equals the movement backward and the force applied.
The Law of Cause and Effect
Otherwise know throughout the east and west as Karma. Often misunderstood as accruing bad luck. This can be true but more often it is the simpler form of the Law. If someone becomes a murderer, their Karma is that now they must live in fear of being caught. If someone is a saintly person, their karma is the chance of people taking advantage of their kindness. We must take responsibility for the consequences of our actions.
The Law of Gender
Every male thing has the female element. Every female thing has a male element as well. This principle reverberates the Law of Rhythm. Again, a balance is key. Hence the Hermaphrodite; an ancient symbol of the balance of Gender in the soul.
I'd like to introduce this journal by acknowledging it's reason for existence. My name is Gabriel. This Journal is a conglomeration of various philosophical and practical techniques of sorcery and witchcraft. It is also akin to a diary for this particular magician; a place where I can include any personal accounts of the paranormal or occult that I have and inevitably will continue to experience.
I'm sure the accounts will entertain some, but ultimately the purpose of this blog is to be an educational tool for the magician that created it. In a way, the personal accounts will be a testament of my journey.
If it feels right I will continue to post. Thank you for reading.
