My Arsolfen oc (species by me)

Habitat

-swamps or marshes

-sleeps in dens like beaver dams 

Diet

-Small berries, grasses, and herbs

Behavior 

-males are particularly territorial, and will stand on their hind legs and flap their wings if threatened 

Appearance 

-colors can be anywhere from tan, to dark grey. Beaks can be a dark brown, or yellow. Juveniles' tails and manes are much smaller. A female's tail is duller than a males, and less fluffier. (Back legs are bird talons, coloration same as beak)

Naming

-Their names are based on their skills, special abilities, appearance, or personality. Young Arsolfens are not named until these traits show. Until then they are labeled with numbers ( yes, they have their own language)
