Zatanna had been recruited to perform two magic shows. No big deal, it was her job after all. She was in between show currently but still in costume. Sitting on a table, Zee absently shuffled cards as she looked around. The magician sighed, that feeling of something wicked coming it hadn’t gone, lingering, unwanted. Her demon problem was take care of but something was still wrong. A sound took her out of her thoughts. “What the hell?”
“Apologies.” Arthur offered, picking up one of the cards he’d knocked over. He felt out of place in a sea of silly costumes, even more so since he’d lost track of Mera. “What is it that you do, exactly?” Magic wasn’t a foreign concept to Arthur, but he couldn’t tell if she was a rabbit in hat person, or the real deal.
