I saw this photo of Xiao Zhan, Xuan Lu, and Wang Zhuocheng posing and I was hit with Yunmeng siblings feels. I just had to draw the the animated characters in this pose! I love how The Untamed has been going and how you can really tell the people involved cared about making it. Seeing all the behind the scenes content is great too. I highly recommend watching it!

(Also, I’m really not ready for the English subs for JZX and JYL’s death so I’m trying to distract myself.)

do you ever think about how jiang cheng used himself as a distraction for the wens despite being aware that he likely wouldn’t survive and got himself captured, tortured, core melted all to protect his brother and then never told him about it. do you ever think about how wei wuxian gave his core up for his brother and had to endure a 3 day painful surgery for it where he was awake the whole time with the chances of surviving it being 50/50 and never told him about it. do you ever think about how these brothers sacrificed themselves for each other with no regard to their own safety and just NEVER TOLD EACH OTHER ABOUT IT

While everyone celebrated the 1 year anniversary of the Yiling Patriarchs death, Jiang Cheng got drunk and decided to finally get rid of everything in Wei Wuxian’s old room. He opens a drawer to the desk and finds a beautifully done portrait of Jiang Yanli on top of many other portraits and drawings from happier times.

He spends the rest of the day sobbing on the floor, cursing and thanking and loving and hating his brother all in equal messures.

(He gives the portrait to Jin Ling on his birthday a few years later)
