----
The past few days seemed like a blur to me; Reggie spent more and more time with the Core Four, and me, than his actual football guys. The only time he saw them was during practice. Lucky for everyone, football was the one thing that all the guys cared about enough to separate their personal vendettas. The less time he spent with them, the more time he spent with me.
Almost every day after school, it was understood that he would drop me off at the Lodges' and he would come in to do some studying. Don't get me wrong, studying was the main priority; it just wasn't the only priority.
It became common knowledge that Reggie would be at the Lodges' dinner table, sitting next to me. More often than not, once dinner was over, he would leave to return home, and end our day with a lingering kiss. He was turning out to be the one good guy in this town; quite the opposite from what I originally thought.
Of course, the deal still stood. If he changed for the better, then I had to make the effort to socialize with others. As much as I fought the case that I was already hanging out with Veronica and her friends, Reggie was adamant that I needed to experience making my own friends, rather than my cousin's.
The pep rally was drawing near and Reggie made it a point to remind me every day leading up to the finale.
Leading against my locker one morning, he said, "You could try joining a group, or a sport. That'll be the best way to make friends."
Sighing and shutting my locker, I replied, "Sure, but then how would I spend time with you after school?"
Scoffing, he countered, "There's always the night, and the weekends."
“Hey!" Veronica greeted, approaching you. "Before you say anything, I told Cheryl that we need a new member and that it should be you. She's already on thin ice with her past followers, so having a new person should be beneficial, for everyone."
"Whoa, that'll be awesome. I'm just imagining you in that cheer outfit," Reggie said, leaning his head on the locker and closing his eyes, no doubt imagining me being a lot more preppy in the uniform.
Turning back to my cousin, I asked, "Y-You want me to try-out for the cheer team?"
"Yes! Betty and I can train you and we'll introduce you to the others. Trust me, you need this, Y/N."
"There's no way in hell I'm going to be some goddamn cheerleader," I almost hiss at my cousin. "Of all the insane clubs at this school, you want me to become some teenage boy's fantasy? Are you actually crazy?"
Veronica's excited smile vanished when she saw my glaring eyes. "I just thought-".
"No. No, you didn't think anything." I turned to glance at Reggie too, who was now staring at me with worry. "When are the two of you going to understand this? I don't do clubs, I don't do friends, and I most certainly don't do the whole cheery-hair extensions- hairspray bullshit!"
With that, I turned and stormed off to my first class of the day, ignoring the lingering feeling of Reggie's gaze on my back.
--
After first period, Reggie stood outside, waiting to see me. Once he caught a glance of me, he followed.
"Babe, are you okay?" he asked, testing the waters.
"Fine, absolutely perfect," I replied, not bothering to mask my sarcasm.
Stopping by my locker to change books, Reggie stood a cautious distance from me. "I know Veronica's idea bothered you, but would it be so bad if you actually gave it a try?"
This time, I slammed the locker door shut, causing interested eyes to glance in our direction.
"Okay, I get it. I won't push it. I just thought that maybe-".
Reggie was cut off by a Serpent member making their way over to us. He was tall and lean, but I couldn't remember his name; it was one of those odd ones.
"Hey, you're Y/N, right?" he asked, not spearing a glance Reggie's way.
"Y-Yeah, why?" I replied.
"Jughead wants to know if you'd consider writing for his blog."
"Why doesn't he just ask me himself?"
"He's kind of wound up right now, but he said that you're new but you're observant. So, are you in?"
I met Reggie's disapproving gaze before turning back to the Serpent. "What time?"
The Serpent smirked and replied, "After school, in the Art room." He stuck out his hand and continued, "I'm SweetPea, by the way."
I met his hand and said, "Y/N. Pleased to meet you. I'll be there later. Tell Jughead I've got the perfect bit of news for his blog."
"Anything I'd be interested in?" He asked, maintaining that enchanting smirk.
I took a step towards him and smiled, saying, "It's something that everyone will be talking about once it's released."
"Awesome. Can't wait to see what you got. Maybe I can help you with the research part, if you want."
"Sure, that'll be great. It'd be a good chance for us to maybe become friends." I sure hoped that Reggie took notice of my choice of words.
SweetPea chuckled, nodded silently and turned to blend in with the crowded hallway.
"What the actual hell, Y/N? You're gonna be hanging around with the Serpents now?"
I slung my bag over my shoulder and smirked saying, "Well, you wanted me to make friends, right? Or did that only apply to friends that are convenient to you?"
"Of course I want you to make friends, but that freaking Serpent?! Ronnie's gonna have a fit."
"Good, then maybe she'll leave me alone again and return to her picture-perfect gang."
"What about how I feel about this? I didn't like the way that Serpent was looking at you."
"Nothing's gonna happen there, Reg. It's a harmless blog that is actually interesting. Plus, I actually like writing, so this should be fun."
"Yeah, fun for you," Reggie mumbled, following me to our next class.

Request: @chubbypatatina -I wanna ask for a little story with FP Jones? In my mind, it's about some rich and nice girl, the good innocent type, boring and tired of her life, but she meets FP, who gives her freedom, chaos and a lot of sex. Daddy kink, with a little fluff. Can you please? <3
Pairing: FP Jones x Reader
Warnings: smut, cussing
----
Sitting in this up-and-coming coffee shop, sipping your second iced Americano for the day, you stare at the young high school freshmen teenagers huddling over a phone and squealing about some boy's six-pack. It was hard to imagine that kind of excitement, now that you had graduated high school and moved onto University.
You were never one for large groups of friends, or a wild night out. You'd much rather prefer to stay at home, reading, writing, or binge watching a new series on Netflix.
Looking at these overly-enthusiastic teenagers in the line ahead of you, you thought back on your life before University. You had done everything to be seen as the 'perfect daughter' and the even more 'perfect young lady'. You maintained a perfect attendance, aced every test and project, hardly ever disagreed with your parents, had minimal friends, graduated top of your year and made it into a notable University.
All was well in your life, so why weren't you...happy?
You were struck out of your thoughts by the revving of a motorcycle in the coffee shop's parking lot. Glancing outside, you saw the back of leather jacket and cringed internally upon seeing the serpent symbol. You swore you were far enough from the Southside to not be in the same presence as a Serpent.
The baristas didn't hide their worry, most of them audibly sighing. Soon enough, a trio of Serpent members entered the coffee shop and you could sense the environment shift; everyone was on edge.
Rather than deal with this drama, you gathered your tote bag and grabbed your drink in your left hand. Heading for the door, the Serpent at the back bumped into you, by accident, sending your drink straight to the floor.
"Shit," he mumbled.
Rather than get scared, you sighed, more frustrated than anything. You bent to collect the cup, but a staff member hurried over with a mop and a bucket.
"I'm sorry, sweetheart," the Serpent said, standing to face you.
You raised your head to meet his gaze and almost took a step back when you saw the deep hazelnut colour of his eyes.
"How about I buy you a new one?" he offered.
"N-No, thank you. I'll just get going."
"No, please. I insist."
He kept your gaze and you became enchanted; searching deeper into his eyes. When he broke eye contact, you took the chance to take him all in. The leather jacket actually complimented his frame and the few silver hairs that formed at his temples made him appear more mature and intellectual than the other two Serpents in front of him.
You followed him to the edge of the barista station where he stood next to you for your drinks. You didn't think being so close to someone would have this kind of effect on you. Maybe it was because he was a Serpent, but his very essence made your heart beat increase and the palms of your hands dampen.
"Do you come to this shop often?" he asked, turning to face you.
"Yes, it's the closest to my school."
"High school?"
"University."
He stared at you before chuckling and saying, "Shit, you look young enough to be my daughter."
You scoffed and replied, "Whatever you say, daddy."
That smacked the smug look off his face. You also widened your eyes, realizing what you had just said.
Looking at him, you stuttered, "S-s-sorry. I d-didn't mean for that to sound..."
He raised his hand up to stop you. "No, that actually sounded pretty good."
You snickered nervously, desperate to feel less embarrassed.
As if sensing your need to be saved, the barista arrived with your orders and you eagerly took the cup.
"Thank you again for this," you force out.
He chuckled and said, "Anytime, sweetheart. Maybe the next time I see you, I'll buy you something more than just a coffee."
You could feel the blush rush to your cheek. "Are you trying to be like a real daddy?"
"If that's what you want." He took a few a steps to close the distance between the two of you.
He was close enough that you could smell his after-shave. "Just let me know when," you say, managing to stand your ground. You were positive he could hear your heart practically bursting from your chest.
"Ever been to the Southside?"
"I've spent my entire life trying to avoid it, actually."
The side of his mouth twitched, playing along with your humor. "Do you live near there?"
"Close enough, I suppose."
"How about you meet my by the Whyte Worm tonight?"
"I have classes till 8," you tease.
"Then meet for whatever time; I'll be there."
His two associates strutted by to wait for him by the entrance. "Looks like that's your cue."
"I'll see you later?"
"Maybe. We'll see."
"Oh, what's your name?"
"Y/N. Yours?"
"FP."
The second he was out the door, you needed to re-adjust. Did you really just flirt with a Serpent? Did all of that just happen? More importantly, were you seriously considering meeting this man after class, on the Southside, in a bar, to do who-knows-what?! Decisions, decisions.
--
"Class dismissed," your professor announced. Everyone sighed as the class finished a little past 8 o'clock.
You slung your bag over your shoulder and made the familiar trek back to your car. Once you got settled, you started the ignition and the car roared to life. The sound reminded you of the motorcycle from the coffee shop. You checked your mirrors and recalled the interaction from earlier.
Shifting the car into reverse, you knew where you needed to be; the Whyte Worm.
--
The parking lot was mostly empty, save for a couple of bikes by the entrance. Stepping out of your car, you adjusted your black shorts and tee, trying to look presentable. Then again, this was a bar, so what even was presentable?
The door creaked open when you pushed it, and your footsteps echoed off the walls.
"Hello?" you called out. The overhead lights were on, as were the drink coolers. However, there was no bartender or patron.
Unsure of what to do, you moved towards the pool table and fixed the balls for a fresh game.
"Didn't peg you for a pool player," a deep voice sounded from the back of the bar.
You recognized it immediately, and your heart leaped in response. "It's my first time even seeing a pool table up close and in person."
"Wanna try to play?"
"S-sure," you replied, not feeling that confident.
Gingerly, he gathered the balls and raised the triangle. He took two sticks, passing one to you, and began to play. His first shot just shuffled the balls around.
You leaned over the table, trying to mimic his pose.
"No, here. Let me show you." He made his way over to you and held your hand in his. "Just imagine a ricochet. It's more about practice than anything."
He released your hand and you took your shot. Luckily, you made one ball into the socket.
"A natural," he muttered.
You turned to meet him and found him close, too close. The lapels of his plaid shirt touched your hands and you fought the urge to grab it and pull him close.
Sensing your energy, he tossed the stick onto the table and held your cheek in his hand. You gently leaned into his touch. Slowly, his thumb met your lips, and you parted them, giving him entrance.
With a deep, guttural groan, he pulled you to him and laid his lips on yours. At first, you were overpowered, but once you caught on to the rhythm of his lips, you quickly adjusted. Your hands latched onto his neck, pulling him in towards you. His hands clasped your waist and lifted you, placing you to sit on the edge of the pool table.
Through everything, you couldn't help but think that this was the most insane, spontaneous thing you'd ever done. And you liked it.
You parted your legs, letting him settle in between them. He snaked his hands from your knees to your inner thighs. You could sense the waves of ecstasy roll through you and you wanted every last drop. You glided you hands from his neck, down his chest, finally resting on his belt buckle. Slowly, you passed your thumb over the rough denim of his zipper. He jumped, but only slightly. With another moan from him, you cupped his hardened area and kneaded your palm along it.
His breathing got heavier and the kiss broke. He rested his head on your shoulder and moved your hand away from his boner.
Looking up at you, he said exasperatedly, "Fuck, I didn't think you'd be so rough."
Keeping up with the teasing tone, you replied, "oh, am I being a bad girl?"
He chuckled and said, "what does that make me, then?"
You slip your fingers into the belt holders and give him one rough pull towards you, earning another moan. "That makes you this bad girl's daddy, who needs to make sure she's properly punished."
"Then we better get started." In one swift motion, he lifted you off the table and took you to the back, where there's a bed waiting and an empty floor that's begging for your clothes.
--
Almost every week since that fated night, you met with him. The locations were different, the criteria was different, but every meeting had the same result. At first, it was all about sex. Blissful, experimental, kinky sex. But over time, the two of you got to enjoy each other's company. He wasn't just some random Serpent from the Southside. He became your main influence to let loose and live your life out of the dreary normalcy of school and home.
Most times, if you didn't have classes or exams, you'd find yourself in his trailer, in his room, wearing one of his shirts, listening to 80′s music and falling asleep to him passing his hand through your hair. The sex was always great, but feeling his strong arm around you, made you feel safe and empowered. He was your inspiration for stepping out of your comfort zone and saying 'why not?'.
As long as you had him, there was no telling what you could do. For the first time in your life, you felt like you were the one pulling the strings and the one thing you wanted to keep? Him.
Hi, cutie! you are doing an amazing work<3. So, i wanna ask for. . . A little stoy with FP JONES?. You have no idea how true the term "Karma is a bitch" is until it happens to you. Being the secret editor and owner of the RiverLads online blog had it high moments. However, as time went on, and more secrets kept appearing about students' lives and their even more influential parents, you couldn't sit back and let it all go unheard. Your moral compass was running on high and you needed to reveal the truth, no matter how controversial it was.
Your target? Veronica Lodge.
Her father, Hiram Lodge, recently returned to his family, but his business operations were back in full swing. Sure, the Lodges had a ton of physical security, chauffeurs, bodyguards, weapons and evidence. Their one downfall: soft copies of every single transaction and operation. It wasn't like Hiram Lodge focused on this aspect; he assumed Andre took care of everything like that. But, Andre was no tech-savvy guy.
It was all too easy to hack into the Lodge systems and gather up all the vital intel on Riverdale and his plans for the future.
Several all-nighters of sorting through information and formatting it into one long online post later, you were prepared to blow the cover off this family. As planned, 1 a.m. on Monday, the post went live and you sat back and waited for the ball to drop.
That morning, the second you stepped onto the school property, the name "Lodge" was being thrown around incessantly. It was clear that the post shook the school and even more so, the town. You had done your job.
Standing in front of your open locker, you gave yourself a mental pat on the back for all your hard work. You sneaked a peak at the only other truth-seeker you found in your school, Jughead Jones. His locker was a mere 13 feet from yours, so every now and then, you took the chance to admire his steeling gaze and strong jawline. It was hard to ignore those eyes.
Those eyes that were now locked on yours. And with the gaze, he moved towards you. You reeled back, shut your locker and headed in the opposite direction. You kept telling yourself that he wasn't following you until you were near the school's football field and felt a strong hand grip your forearm and pull you back.
"Y/N." The way he said your name, so matter-of-factly, sent a shiver down your spine. You didn't know hearing your own name would make you feel to melt under the morning sun.
"W-what?" you replied, gathering enough courage to make your voice heard.
"It was you, wasn't it? You posted that article about the Lodges." Once again, a statement rather than an enquiry.
You found the reaction to chuckle. Your face relaxed and you pulled your arm out of his grip. "Oh, that article? Is that what everyone is talking about? I didn't get a chance to read it yet."
Now, it was his turn to scoff. "Yeah, you don't need to read it now when you're the one who wrote it."
"Those are pretty strong accusations, Jones." With that, you gathered your bag again and headed back towards the school building.
As you walked off, Jughead said behind you, "I told Veronica that I think you're the one behind the RiverLads. Just watch out, okay? It would suck if a fellow reporter got hunted down for something like this."
You stopped in your tracks, and glanced back at him. "What even makes you think that I'm behind that article?"
"You're the only one in this town that knows I.T. better than the teachers and can actually hack into something, like the school system."
You smiled to yourself. So he had remembered that, huh? Last year, you stayed back in the library until 9 p.m. to hack into the school system to get dirt on the suppliers for the cafeteria. It was a story that forced the school to go under investigation and adjust their entire nutrition system. The only flaw with the entire plan? Jughead stayed back to see if the school had any news on the Jason Blossom missing case. Inevitably, he ran into you and kept quiet ever since.
"Looks like I better watch out for the 'demon queen of high school', huh?" You asked, returning to the present.
"Just be careful. The Lodges don't mess around with their secrets."
--
It didn't take long for word to get around school. Veronica Lodge bore her eyes into you any time you entered a share classroom, common area, or cafeteria. She was out for blood.
You figured that if this was it, if you were to be 'hunt(ed) down in study hall', you might as well live like it was all going to shit. There was no way you were going 'to stay and die like cattle'. The Lodges weren't going to drive you into the shadows; you had their secrets, even the ones that weren't mentioned in the RiverLads article.
Once the last bell of the school day rang, you were packing your bag by your locker when you noticed Jughead taking off after waving goodbye to his friends.
Of all the things on your bucket list, he was the number one. In that moment, you made your decision. You shut the locker door, slung your bag over your shoulder and exited your school, heading in one direction: Southside.
--
The look of pure shock when Jughead opened the trailer door and saw you standing there, was priceless. If you could have, you would have taken a snapshot of it and made it your phone background.
"What are you doing here, Y/N?" he asked, glancing around to see if anyone else saw you.
"Boredom, mostly. May I come in?"
He stepped aside and ushered you in, closing the door quickly behind you. You imagined the state of the trailer many times, but nothing could have prepared you for seeing it so...clean.
"Where's your dad?" you asked, making your way to the kitchen area.
"At work."
"When is he coming home?"
"Later. What's with the questions? Do you need something?"
You turned to meet his eyes, and replied, "Just you."
His eyebrows twitched, completely unprepared for your response. "What does that mean?" he asked, inquisitively.
"Let's face it, Jones. 'I'm a dead girl walkin' and soon enough, the Lodges are gonna come after me so right now, I have nothing to lose."
"Veronica's not that mean. She's pissed off, sure, but she wouldn't ruin you," he said, moving to sit on his couch.
You nodded and walked over to him, slowly. "True, but can you say the same about her father?"
Jughead nodded, agreeing with your implication. The both of you knew how treacherous Hiram Lodge could be. "You still haven't told me what you're doing here."
You now stood over Jughead, watching him curiously. Your nerves were on high alert, but so was your confidence. "I figured that since I'm going down anyway, 'you're my last meal on death row'."
Jughead chuckled and replied, "And I should comply because...?"
"Because I have information that can help you with the Lodges and with the town killer. Plus, we have an undeniable attraction."
"Undeniable huh?" he mumbles, leaning forward to raise to his feet.
You push him back into the couch, by holding his shoulder down. Once he's seated, you swing your legs over him and get comfortable on his thighs.
"Is this how you saw this happening?" he asks, placing his hands on either side of your waist.
"Not exactly, but spontaneity works like that sometime." You stare into his eyes while moving your hands from his shoulders to his neck. "So, shall we? Let's 'make this whole town disappear'."
With that, Jughead grips your waist and throws his lips on yours, immediately ignoring to start off slow. Sensing that the two of you are on the same page now, you put your entire being into him.
Sliding his hands under your shirt, Jughead lifts you slightly and places you to lay on your back. You keep your hands on him, never losing track of him and his movement. You take in every trace of him; you want to savor and remember this moment.
It doesn't take long for the two of you to end up in your birthday suits. Not once does Jughead make you feel uncomfortable of disrespected; his touches are gentle yet confident.
Soon enough, the two of you are laying on the couch, completely spent. When your breathing becomes more normal, he drapes a blanket over you, eagerly returning to your side and pulling you into him. Once he rests his check on your head, you find his hand around your stomach and interlace your fingers with his.
"Was that as good for you as it was for me?" he asked, gently placing a kiss on your hair.
You chuckled and replied, "Yeah, for sure."
"What are you going to do later?"
"Later? Probably put up another post on the RiverLads."
"Listen, about the information on the Lodges you promised me..."
You turn to look up at him. "I'll e-mail you everything I have, okay?"
"No, I wasn't demanding it; I was just wondering if I could review it with you. Since you posted that article and Veronica already thinks that you're the culprit, then we can use the forum for more than just idle gossip."
"You want to turn the RiverLads into some kind of newspaper?"
"More than a newspaper. We can turn it into anything, as long as we spread the truth."
You thought about it and if it meant that you had more reasons to spend time with Jughead, then you wanted to take advantage of it. This was going to be something more than simple anonymous tips and useless banter from high-schoolers.
Working with Jughead meant that you could take the town's issues, scavenge for the truth and make it public. The possibilities were endless and once Jughead was there, you hoped there would be more opportunities to 'hang out' like this one.

Today had been what you would consider a success. A morning jog on the treadmill in the basement, slipping out the house before your parents could offer you breakfast, convincing your friends and your boyfriend that you needed to study during lunch for your Physics quiz, and stocking up on water constantly. Once you heard the last bell of the day, you breathed a sigh of relief and got ready to head home for another quick round of in-house cardio.
Until your phone buzzed from a text from your boyfriend, Jughead.
More news on the town killer. Meet me by Pop's?
It was a simple and average message, but it still struck a chord in your mind. Being in Pop's after school meant being in a relatively-crowded enclosed area, filled with grease-smoke from the kitchen.
You spent the day mostly alone and in quiet; you weren't exactly in the mood to be entertaining company.
You've tried to keep Jughead in the dark about how you've been feeling for the past few months. You avoided staying along with him for long periods of time because you didn't want him to feel the space between your clothes and your body. You also didn't want him to catch on to your emotional spiral; if he caught a whiff of it, you'd never hear the end of it. If it was one thing Jughead always made time for, town killer or not, was to listen to his friends' concerns.
Sighing, you sent a quick affirmation text and slammed your locker shut.
Pop's diner wasn't too far away; you timed the bike ride and made a mental note to check the calories burned from the time spent. 18.5 minutes later, you stopped in front of the diner and moved to secure your bike in the bike rack.
From the parking lot alone, you could tell that there were going to be a lot of people inside.Your hand hovered over the front door handle and you took a deep breath, steeling yourself for the oncoming draft of greasy meats, french fries, burnt coffee, and of course, the noise from tables full of teenagers.
Almost immediately, Jughead hollered at your from his usual booth by the front window. You were surprised to see that he was not alone; the booth was mostly full from Archie, Veronica and Betty being there.
You slid into the empty space next to Jughead who closed his laptop and stored it away, getting ready to give you his full attention.
"How was the quiz?" Veronica asked, offering you a welcoming smile.
Not missing a beat, you replied, "It was pretty good. I almost feel like I studied for nothing."
Jughead chuckled and draped his arm around your shoulders, drawing you closer. It was fine, until he squeezed your shoulder and pulled back. Your eyes met his and you could sense the waterfall of questions forming in his mind.
Luckily, a part-timer came over and took your order. Everyone ordered french fries, burgers and shakes, but you played it safe and stuck with water.
"You'll share with me," Jughead said. It wasn't a question; he knew what he was doing. You recognized that tone of his, the un-negotiating tone indicating that his mind already went serious.
Easily, the others returned to talking about school gossip and homework assignments. Jughead remained silent but you confidently met his gaze. He grabbed your hand under the table and circled his fingers around your wrist.
Muttering, he said, "There's more space than last time."
You tried to pull your hand back, but his grip tightened.
"How could I miss this? You're my girlfriend."
You could hear the defeat in his voice; he was mentally punishing himself for this already. "It's not your fault," you say, trying to reassure him.
The others around the table could tell that something was going on between the two of you. Rising, Betty announced, "We have some English assignment to work on, so we'll take our orders to-go."
You rose your head to say goodbye. As soon as they left the booth, you forced out of his grip and moved to sit opposite him. The part-timer brought Jughead's order and with a stern expression, he pushed the plate to your side and ordered, "Eat."
"I'm not hungry, Jug," you said, avoiding his stare and turning to look at the table-top instead.
"We're not leaving here until you take a bit of the burger, Y/N."
"I don't want any, Jug."
You could hear his breathing increase; he was getting more and more frustrated with every rejection. You tilted your gaze to the edge of plate and you stared at the miniature pool of grease that dripped from the meat patty and started mixing with a forgotten drop of ketchup.
"Y/N, please," he said.
Staring at the grease spot, your mind races. Either you eat and work it off later, or finish the day successfully. Either you give your boyfriend some peace of mind or you compliment yourself later for staying strong. Either you regret the bite or remain clean.
All these thoughts racing through your mind, mixed with the rising level of noise from neighbouring tables and Jughead's eyes boring into your very being. It became too much. Your eyes began to water from the stress of it all; this was time for a fight or flight response.
Quickly, you snatched up your bag and your phone and bolted out of the diner. You yanked the bike lock open and sped down the main road of Riverdale, desperate to escape your emotions.
Admittedly, it didn't take long for him to find you; he is your boyfriend after all.
Sitting on the edge of Sweetwater River, with your feet resting in the smooth current of the river, Jughead sat next to you. He sat cross-legged next to you, but the moment his knee touched your thigh, you shrunk into yourself.
"We need to talk, Y/N."
All you could do was nod.
"I'm not sure how I missed all this. I know I've been busy trying to work through all the conspiracies in this town, and that we haven't really spend a lot of time together, so I didn't give you as much attention as you needed. I-".
You stopped him with a glare. "None of this is your fault, Jug. Sure, you've been busy, but it's not like this a new thing to me; I've been dealing with this since before I met you."
"Why didn't you say something?"
"I-I don't know. It was just my thing; I just wanted to keep it that way."
He took your hand in his and turned to face you. You met his gaze, and watched him think about what to say next.
After a short moment of the gentle current being the only sound heard, Jughead met your eyes and said, "Do you want to get better?"
You hadn't expected that question; you were thrown off. "I-I don't know. I can't imagine gaining weight again."
Sighing, Jughead said, "It's not going to be sudden, Y/N. We can work on it together. I just want you to be happy."
"What if this is my happy?"
"That's not possible. You didn't see the expression on your face when the food arrived. You were...scared."
All you could do was nod again. You definitely couldn't deny what he saw; it was completely plausible.
"We can take it one step at a time. There is a way to be healthy and still be happy with how you look."
"Jug," you said, you tone turning frustrated.
"I can't remember the last time I saw you eat, Y/N! Or smile, even."
You stared at him with wide eyes. This was actually happen and he was completely right. This mental struggle took over your entire life and it was affecting your boyfriend. "Okay, Jug. I'll try, for you."
He shook his head slightly and said, "No, this isn't for me. You have to do this for you and your well-being."
"What's the next step, then?"
Interlacing your fingers, Jughead said, "I'll ask the Serpents if they know of any good psychiatrists in town. Someone who's more interested in the patient that the fee."
You nodded and replied, "I'll trust you, Jughead. I want to be happy and I want us to be happy."
"Me too. You're everything to me, Y/N. I can't imagine losing you."
You moved closer to him and rested your head on his shoulder. The two of you sat there for a while longer, staring at the sky's reflection on the riverbed. You worried about the next day; you didn't want him to worry about you like that; you wanted to do whatever it took to make him happy and inevitably, yourself.
Hi! I don’t know if you’re taking requests right now, but if you are could you do an angsty jughead x reader piece where the reader has depression and anorexia and jughead finds out and tries to help her through it? Thanks!
Omg I am so sorry! This is such a long time but if you still want this, I'm so up for it! I've actually started doing it already.
Imagine Sweet Pea jumping to your defence every time Reggie tries to insult you
Overdue Admittance
Pairing: (Gay)Reader x Kevin (slightly)
Summary: Reader is a closeted kid in Riverdale and finally feels comfortable enough to come out to the only other openly-gay kid at school, Kevin.
Warnings: none
--
When surrounded by inspiration, certain decisions should be easy to make...right?
Seeing play-enthusiast and friend of the Core Four, Kevin, be his true self all over Riverdale should have been the sign of inspiration that you needed, but the nagging uncertainty never left your mind.
Every time you overheard Kevin talk openly about needing to find someone to love or to no longer be the only openly gay kid in the town made you cringe. You just wanted to rise up and shout to the heavens that you were there and you were queer.
In some part of your mind, you imagined talking to Kevin about your closet-ness and various scenarios formed. During one, Kevin wrapped you in his arms and whisked you out of the school, where the two of your drove off into the sunset. In another, he cringed when you admitted your truth and gave you an empathetic pat on the shoulder before walking away to join his friends.
Let's face it, you've thought out so many possibilities that you often spaced out during your classes. The secret was becoming overbearing and you needed to take that step forward. You needed to tell someone, even if it was someone you've never so much as shared a table with.
-
Just as the last bell of the day rang, you built up your courage and took that first step towards him. As you shut your locker door, you spotted him talking with Betty over by her locker. Slowly, but defiantly, you strolled over and stood just a little off from their area. After a couple of nervous breaths, Kevin finally noticed you..
"Y/N, you need something?" he asked, letting those endearing eyes wash over you.
"Y-yeah. Hi, Kevin. I was wondering if I could talk to your for a sec," you muttered, slightly glancing at Betty's puzzled expression.
"Sure thing. Let's go to the common room." He held his hand out and you fought the urge not to grab hold of it and drag him along the hallway. "I'll see you later, Betty".
You followed in silence, with your gaze mostly on the linoleum-tiled floor of the school's hallway. When he opened the door and held it for your enter, you raised your head and your gaze locked into his, if only for a split second.
Once you two were seated, him on the single-chair and you on the right side of a two-seater, he asked, "So, what's up?".
Now, it was getting serious. You never thought you'd get this far, but it was about time, right?
You rubbed your hands into your dark jeans, hoping to get rid of the residual nervous sweat that had formed.
"Y/N?" Kevin said, trying to remind you of his existence. How could you ever forget you were in the same room as him, and finally, his focus was firmly on you?
"Y-yes, right. Well, I wanted to talk to you about something...personal. It's not a big deal, maybe it won't be to you, but I'm still kind of freaked out by it, but I'm trying to get over it because it's the truth, but then again who am I to say what's true and what isn't, I'm just a teenager and shouldn't have that kind of wisdom yet but here I am acting like a know-it-all in front of you and expecting you to care when I'm sure you have more important-".
"Hold on, stop," Kevin said, leaning forward and resting his hand on your knee. "You're rambling. Just tell me the important part."
You can hear your heartbeat echoing in your ears. Should you just come out with it and face the reaction or should you continue to hide? Locked into his gaze, you make the final decision. You never know when you're going to get this opportunity again, so might as well make the most of it.
You take a deep breath and finally admit, "I'm gay, Kevin."You eagerly search his face for a reaction.
He stills, just looking at you. After a beat, he says, "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you had something else to say, that wasn't so obvious."
"Obvious?" You reply, thrown off-guard.
Kevin nods and leans back in his chair. "You've been good at hiding it; you have more guy friends than girls and you have your own hetero quirks, but it was still pretty obvious."
"I thought you would react differently."
"How differently?"
"Anything else besides being completely neutral." Your voice raised; you wanted something else. You wanted him to see you differently all of a sudden. You spent so many years feeling secluded and confused about yourself and all you wanted when you told someone was for them to seem surprised, in the least.
"Well, I'm sorry, but I suspected it for so long that it almost seems overdue."
Feeling completely shocked, you jump to your feet and throw your bag over your shoulder. Before walking off, you say, "thanks for your time; sorry I wasted it."
"Wait, Y/N," he almost-shouts. "I really am sorry. To be honest, when I came out, I always hoped that you would too and then we could form our own little army of LGBTQ kids."
You almost chuckle at the thought. "Then I'm sorry that I took so long."
Kevin moves to stand in front of you. He takes your hand in his and says, "Better late than never, especially for you."
You stare at the contact and wonder what it all means. This was definitely never in your imagined scenarios.
"You get to live your life how you want now. You can tell whomever you want. I'll help, if you want. I'll even introduce you to some other people if you're looking to date."
"N-no!" you say.
"Why? It might be nice to experience dating."
"Yes, but I don't want to date some random person. I-I've always wanted to go out with someone that I already know."
You look at him, seeing your comment register with him. "O-oh, I see. Look, Y/N, I don't really date, I'm more of in a touch-and-go kind of phase."
"I know, but I just wanted to let you know."
Kevin nods and says, "Good to know, then."
He releases your hand and steps aside. Before you leave the room, you say, "I think I'll take you up on that offer to tell my friends."
"Okay, just let me know when and I'll be there."
"Thanks." You smile at him and leave the room, feeling lighter than you have all year.
It's true, what Kevin said. You could finally live your life your way. Your truth is all that matters and with him in your life, you could take on the world. One step at a time, one day at a time, one encounter at a time.

Hello everyone! I know…I’ve been MIA for extremely long. To be honest, I got writer’s blocks and haven’t kept up with Riverdale, so I was definitely out of the loop for a while.
To everyone that sent story requests, I’m truly, undeniably sorry. I haven’t been in a place where I’m happy with what I’ve been writing and rather than post something that I don’t particularly like, I decided not to post at all.
Once again, I’m truly sorry.
Going forward, I’m going to try to start back writing, so please, please, Please send me some ideas.
See you soon 🤞🏼❤️

----
It didn't take long for word to reach the Core Four; once second period rolled around, they found me at my locker and started interrogating me to find out what I said or did to provoke the beating. I had to fight a laugh; even among them, this was somehow my fault.
Once they'd gotten their initial questions out of the way and let silence fall over us as they waited for me to answer, I merely said, "I didn't do anything; they came at me because Moose was being his usual asshole of himself and convinced everyone that I had fallen to Mantle's charms and am now a certified slut. Any other questions?"
Their shocked expressions were enough to tell me that they didn't expect my candor. Just as other students started rushing to their classes, Moose and his goons, including Reggie, stopped further down the hall by a locker. I'm sure their conversation was meant to be private, but their voices rose like they were the only ones in the area.
"Dude, did you seriously ditch first to go help out that little bitch?" Moose asked, getting into Reggie's face.
Reggie looked away, over Moose's shoulders, and spotted me looking on. I couldn't tell if he regretted helping me out earlier or if he was thinking of twisting the story to make it seem like he was throwing me a bone.
"Look, I just thought the whole fight thing was a little unnecessary," Reggie replied, looking back at Moose.
"Oh really? Maybe I was wrong; maybe you did enjoy that special time with her."
"You know what, Moose? What if I did? It sure beats all the other pretentious girls in this damn school. You might like them, but goddammit, if we weren't football players, do you think they'd give a damn about us?"
Their group grew silent; the Core Four grew silent.
Catching himself, Moose countered, "So, you think that she knows the real you? Is that the bullshit you're trying to say?" He chuckled and the others joined in.
"What's the alternative? Why do you even hate her that much?"
"Why? She's one of them, Reg! She's part of that psychotic group and worse yet, she's related to the Lodges. If you wanna get involved with that kind of insanity, then go ahead. Don't expect me to support you when she drops your ass for someone with a little more money, though."
With that, Moose stormed off with his lackeys, leaving Reggie standing there.
It wasn't supposed to come to this. Was being a better person really worth burning all of his friendships? Were they even real friendships to begin with?
The group turned to look at me and Ronnie broke the ice. "You don't seriously like him, do you? I mean, Mantle's a jerk, just like the rest of them."
I turned my back to them, closing my locker door. "Maybe, but no one else showed up to help me, not even you guys. That's got to stand for something, right?"
--
"Hey, wait up!" someone called behind me.The day was officially over and I couldn't want to get out of there, away from all the questioning looks and baseless sneers. I turned at the person who called behind me and I almost tripped on the cracked pavement as I saw Reggie approaching.
When he fell in step next to me, I glanced at him and said, "What's this? Are you asking to be removed from your top tier of the social hierarchy?"
I could almost picture the smirk on his face as he responded, "Maybe I'm done with it all, just like you. Maybe I'll show them that I'm more than what they assume."
That made me stop in my tracks.
When he realized I had halted, he looked back and smiled smugly. "What? You didn't think I was capable of higher thinking?"
"N-no, I'm just shocked you realized it so soon."
"Really? Seems like I should have figured it out much earlier."
I offered him a smile and returned walking next to him.
It wasn't long before we met up with slow-walking Core Four. When they saw up approaching, they made room for us but it was obvious by their sudden silence that they were curious about this new dynamic.
Instead of sauntering right through their group, we joined them, greeting them as casually as we could. It wasn't forgotten that they accused me earlier, but I could play civil like everyone else.
"Are you guys heading to Pop's?" Reggie asked.
The group exchanged glances and I fought the urge to roll my eyes as they telepathically decided whether or not to accept us.
"Yeah, we are," Archie finally responded.
"Great. Mind if we come with?" Reggie asked, testing the waters.
"S-Sure, of course," Betty confirmed with her ever-preppy tone.
The silence continued as we walked on, but at least they seemed to be warming up to the idea of Reggie joining to make a new dynamic.
--
It seemed like we were the late ones for a change, because when we entered, there was already the usual group of football players and their girlfriends taking up the booths at the back of the diner.
When they saw Reggie, they started hollering and chuckling like hyenas, to which Reggie merely lead us forward towards the opposite end of the eatery.
We found one of the longer tables that could fit all of us, and they took their seats as they usually do: the girls on one side and the guys on the other.
Reggie however, took out a chair and waited for me to sit before he took the other chair opposite me. The others looked on in silence at the sudden chivalry but quickly caught themselves and resumed talking. The waitress came over and took our orders; all milkshakes of varying flavours.
"Sure you should be doing a milkshake, Reg?" Archie teased.
"I could say the same for you, Andrews."
"So, I was in English class this morning and --" Betty started but was cut off when a brunette approached the table and all but flung herself onto Reggie.
"There you are! We're waiting for you." Her sweet-but-desperate tone wasn't lost on any of us.
I recognized her as the girl that Reggie had under his arm the last time I saw him in Pop's.
He chuckled nervously and said, "I'm with these guys. You don't have to wait for me." From across the table, his eye darted to mine, pleading for help.
Sighing, I stood up and placed a gentle hand on her upper arm. "I'm sorry, but you're bothering us and if Reggie doesn't want to go with you, he won't."
When she turned to me and took me in, she smirked and stood a little taller, brushing off my hand. "You're that bitch that forced yourself on my Reggie, aren't you?"
"Whoa, hold on-" Reggie started but she shot him an intense glare to shut him up.
Returning to me, she took a step closer and said, "You know, I'm sure he just felt really bad for you, being new and all. He's so sweet and can't tell the different between a complete desperate basket case and someone who really cares about him. You got him once, but don't dare think for a second that you can get another chance with him."
Smirking, I started to say something before Reggie rose to his feet and stood between us. "No, you need to stop. You don't understand one damn thing that's going on here," he said to the brunette.
Her gaze locked on him and the pitiful gaze appeared. "Reg Reg, what do you mean? She attacked you; you don't have to forgive her."
Sighing, Reggie glanced and me and said, "Everyone needs to stop blowing this out of proportion. What happened at the lake happened because I wanted it to. She didn't 'attack' me and she certainly didn’t fall for any of my usual charms."
Taking a step back, the brunette whispered, "You mean that you meant to kiss her? When we were together?"
"Whoa," Reggie started, holding his hands up in defense. "We were never going out."
She huffed and said, "Oh please. We did so many things, we might as well have been in a long-term relationship." The smirk that appeared on her face easily overpowered her minuscule moment of disappointment.
"Perhaps, but it was never more than a fling. You know that."
Sighing, she finally resigned herself and said, "Well, if you'd rather be with this- this poor excuse for a woman, then you were never really my type."
Reggie smirked and nodded. After a short moment of admitting defeat, she sauntered over to the other table and took a seat, turning her eyes onto her next target.
Reggie and I returned to our seats as the Core Four waited for one of us to break the silence.
As he always does, Jughead spoke up. "So, you really meant that kiss, Mantle?"
As his cheeks suddenly reddened, he looked towards me and said, "Yeah, I really did."
I couldn't help the smile that appeared as the others looked on and "Ooh"s were heard all around.
Saving us, the waitress appeared with our shakes and we returned to Betty's story about what had happened in English class. Throughout the afternoon, Reggie and I kept sneaking glances at one another and the others never missed it.
When my gaze met Ronnie's, she offered a softened smile. It was an expression that she had never shown me before; it was something I never knew how much I needed until it was there.
Hey :) I wanted to request a gxg Toni and Reader imagine where Toni gets jealous of the readers relationship with sweet pea because they use to be a thing
Hey! Umm....hell freakin’ yeah! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Hi! I was wondering if you have a masterlist?
Hi! I have to set one up 🙈. I only have for the Called Out series so far, but I’m definitely gonna set up a full one with all the fics!
Keep Me Close
Pairing: Jughead x Reader
Request: @blackrose8898 -Hi! I was wondering if you can write a Jughead x Reader where the reader is Archie's younger sister and Jughead has to help her through their dad getting shot?
Warnings: none
----
It's always been the four of us: Dad, Archie, Jughead and me. As my brother and I anxiously waited in the hospital for any news on our father's injury, my fingers burned to dial Jughead's number and let him know what had happened. Of course, Archie was ahead of me. In fact, he called the entire group to let them know.
I'd heard his familiar footsteps against the linoleum floor before I saw him. He was leading the others around the corner, but his gaze instantly met mine. Before he could reach me, Archie intercepted and brought him in for one of those brotherly hugs.
I looked on as Betty made her way next to me, draping her arm over my shoulders and asking me if I needed anything.
Once things had calmed down, Jughead slunk away to take the seat next to me.
For as long as I'd known him, I'd liked him. When we were younger, Archie talked about becoming brothers with him, and I'd played the wife in every house game. It was all pretend, but as we got older, we grew to appreciate each other in a way that went beyond friends. Neither of us outright said anything though; we didn't want to put Archie is an awkward position.
"How are you holding up?" he muttered, gently taking my hand in his.
I scoffed and replied, "About as bad as you'd expect. What a strange family we are; your dad's in custody and mine is lying in a hospital bed for who knows how long."
He offered me a slight smile as he looked down at our hands, his thumb gliding over my fingers.
Then a doctor came into the room, asking for the family of Fred Andrews. Naturally, everyone stood up. Jughead held my hand a little firmer and led me to stand in front, next to Archie. Once the doctor confirmed that our dad was stable, we let out a sigh a relief. Of course, dad wasn't out of the woods yet, but stable is better than dead.
Betty's parents approached us and told us to go home and clean up. Silly me, I'd almost forgot about the dried blood on my clothes. Veronica offered to take Archie home and once my brother checked in with me to see if I was okay enough to leave alone, he walked down the hallways with her.
"We should get you cleaned up too," Jughead said, still holding my hand, like I might disappear if he let go.
I nodded and said goodbye to Betty and her family. Home seemed like the best place to go, but if Archie and Ronnie were there, I didn't want to be there among all their couple stuff.
Sensing that, Jughead offered me his helmet and once the motorcycle roared to life, he steered off towards his place.
--
The ride over was wordless. As he steered with confidence, I clung to his waist and rested my head against his back. It was only when he moved had I realized that we'd stopped.
He took off the helmet for me and took my hand again, leading me to his father's house. Once we were safe inside, he led me to the bathroom and started turning on the shower.
I just kept staring at him; he was so quiet, but every movement spoke for him.
He moved to take off my jacket and that's when I snapped back to reality. "I-I can do it," I whispered. He took a step back, taken off-guard by my sudden talking.
"Sure."
As I took off the layers, he moved to test the temperature of the flowing water.
"It's warm, so it should be fine," he said with his back to me.
We'd known each other for so long, I didn't feel embarrassed by him seeing me naked like that. However, when he turned around and his gaze met mine, I could see his cheeks redden. I wasn't blind to the fact that his eyes also lowered to look at me; in fact, I welcomed it.
I stepped into the shower and let the warm water take me over. Aware of Jughead standing right outside, I still looked down at my hands and started scrubbing at the dried blood, letting the water help with removing it. When I looked down, I saw the red flow of water and it made me sick to think that that was my father's blood, removed because some guy had a vendetta.
I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that the water soon turned clear again. Once I was satisfied, I turned off the water and stepped outside, draping a towel around me.
"Jughead?" I called out.
"I'm in the bedroom," he responded.
Once I dried off and put on the clothes that he slipped in while I was in the shower, I made my way to meet him.
He was laying on his back, staring at his phone. When he saw me enter, he dropped it and focused his attention on me.
Quickly, I made my way to lay beside him, my back facing him. The second my head hit the pillow, I closed my eyes, welcoming its comfort.
Not even five second later, I felt Jughead wrap his arm around my stomach, pulling me closer to him. His breathing was stable but I could sense that something was bothering him.
Resting my arm on top of his, I asked, "Jug? Everything okay?"
"That could have been you," he mumbled into my back.
I stilled; I knew what he meant. I could've been the one to get shot and not have been so lucky to make it to a hospital.
"But it wasn't", I replied.
"I know it's your dad and all, but I'm really glad that it wasn't you."
I let out a breath and said, "I know."
A couple of moment passed before he spoke again. "You can't leave me. With everything going on, and all these other mysteries poking about, I need you, Y/N."
With him so close, I hoped he couldn't tell how fast my heart was beating.
"I'm not planning on going anywhere, Jug. I've always needed you."
The tension of his arm reduced, giving me enough space to turn around and face him.
"Promise me," he said, staring intently into my eyes. "Promise me you won't do anything stupid to get yourself hurt. If anyone has to survive this crazy town, it has to be you."
"Why can't it be us? Why can't we outlive everyone?"
"Because what kind of story would that make? A rebel kid from the wrong side of the tracks and a beautiful girl from a good family? Kind of cliche isn't it?" he asked playfully, smiling at me.
"I wouldn't mind that ending," I said, seriously.
His smile disappeared as he said, "Neither would I."
He pulled me closer to him and I ducked my head to rest under his chin. I didn't want to think about the murder, or the attempted assassination of my father, or the fact that high school was shaping up to be quite the learning experience.
Just being there, with him, was enough. If I had to ask for anything out of my life, this would be it.
Things would fall into place; I had no doubt about that. But this, with Jughead, this was always forming from the first time we said hi to one another. There wasn't a lot of certainty in Riverdale, but it was comforting to know that he was always going to be there for me and with me.
With him, I was ready to face anything.
