something i just noticed about the rabbit monologue in the movie versus the book is that in the book, stebbins says "maybe we should stop being rabbits and grunting pigs and sheep and be people" and in the movie he lists SIGNIFICANTLY more animals while ray and pete just kinda stare at him and it's killing me

like what if that was the rest of the monologue. just stebbins listing various farm animals that we should stop being.

collie parker was the kid who'd start sobbing at sleepovers because he'd miss his mom so much and she'd have to pick him up at 2 in the morning

in a modern world gary would use 4chan and refer to himself as a ltn chud and everyone would Hate him because they are normal and have no idea what the fuck he's talking about ever.

he would try to make "popular jokes" like saying 6 7 and calling himself a sigma rizzler and they never land because everyone thinks he's being serious.

+ adding this part as an afterthought but i imagine collie would be one of the only people to at least try to be cordial to him. he'd give a little laugh at some of gary's jokes or even a smile to let him know his efforts aren't totally in vain.
