I need you to know that your fics singlehandedly got me to watch the Wimbledon men's singles championship. Why does Jannik Sinner look like Jason Grace. Also did not know that the players give speeches after the game, that was certainly a shock

LMAO i’m sorry that i motivated you to watch such a shitty match 😭😭 tennis is usually more fun i swear zverev just ruins it. i’m ngl sinner Doesn’t look anything like the jason in my head but i support ur journey. demeanor-wise he was def one of my inspirations.

two random things that never had reason to make it into the fic but are real and true in my head:

1. jason ends all of his winner speeches with “who’s got it better than us!” which makes tennis fans think he’s an arrogant prick but then after he finally wins the uso chris fowler (who calls the slams for ESPN and also is the main ESPN college football guy) is like “wow were you quoting jim harbaugh?” and then everyone understands

2. like 2 years after the events of the fic jason wins wimbledon and there’s a minor media cycle surrounding whether or not he counts as the first englishman to win wimbledon in 90 years. they ultimately decide he does not.
