The ship, which could open any day now, will move about 1,500 passengers to Bimini and back twice daily, and Genting chairmanKT Lim said the process will create at least 100 jobs at PortMiami, 300 on the ship and 400 in Bimini, the Sun Sentinel reports
The ship has 23 tables for blackjack, roulette, craps and baccarat and 135 slot machines, according to the Sentinel. The ship's sports book is expected to open July 28. On the Bimini island, Genting's Resort World Bimini has about 15 tables and 135 slots.
The company plans to offer two trips a day with the first leaving in the morning at 9 a.m. and returning at 7 p.m. The second trip will leave at 9 p.m. and return at 5 a.m. Tickets start at $49.
Lim also said the port will receive around $6 million guaranteed annually, for a total of $60 million over the initial 10 years of the contract.
