Breaking News: Shots fired on the UES.

(10:30 PM): 

Our sources tell us that there has been a shooting, inside Elite territory. The victim is said to be in critical condition and being transported to the nearest hospital. She is said to be about 5"8, and around 120 pounds. It is assumed she was a dealer for the Elite. Is this a drugs bust gone bad, or a hit by the Underdogs? 

(10:50 PM): 

It's now been confirmed that the location of the shooting was not in fact in Elite territory. It was within the areas given up to the Gladiators by Richard Wright at the hold-up at Revolution 64 in exchange for the lives of the hostages. The victim is also rumoured to be Piper Bishop, girlfriend of Elite second-in-command Austin Marshall. Marshall couldn't be reached for comment or confirmation.

Revolution 64 Grand Opening

(A/N): Because a lot of our members got busy at the last moment, we will be doing things a little differently for this event. I will be posting a summary of what would've happened at the event, and you may post a starter on the dash as if you were attending the event at the time you post the starter. Instead of using the starter tag "tmfstarter," you will be using the tag "tmfevent." You may respond with gifs, like all other gifchats, and in mini paras. So, for example:

GROUP PLOT: 

What was supposed to be an incredibly fun and exciting event turned tragic. Three masked strangers crashed Revolution 64's grand opening and took several female hostages. The hostages were taken by one of the masked strangers and led upstairs. It was then later revealed that several bombs were planted in the club, all set to go off in a few hours. They then proceeded to strap the explosive devices to some of the hostages. Their intentions were unclear, and several of the men ended up grouping together to try and save the women. Eventually, the women were let go, but not before the masked strangers got what they wanted: a large portion of both the Elite and Underdog territory was given up to them after two negotiators struck a deal with them to keep the girls alive. In the end, the three masked strangers reveal themselves to be loyal extremists to a gang who call themselves the Gladiators.

Breaking News: Car explosion, three dead.

(6:30 PM): 

A black Tahoe has erupted into flames in the middle of the street. Several bystanders were injured. The driver and the passenger did not make it out alive. A civilian nearby was killed after the vehicle caught on fire and struck her. 

(6:50 PM): 

It's just been confirmed that there were a large amount of drugs in the vehicle. The two men have reportedly been linked to the Underdogs. Was this a hit set up by the Elite? 

(7:17 PM):

An anonymous tip has just informed us that this was not an attack brought on by the Elite. Only moments ago, two men who were transporting drugs in the Upper East Side were brutally murdered on the street. The dead weren't victims of a robbery. Police have confirmed that the men were carrying drugs and a large amount of money, both of which seemed to be untouched.

Both the Elite and the Underdogs were victims here. We know these two are constantly at each other's throats, but this couldn't have possibly been either of their doing in such a short amount of time. So, is there a third party involved? And if so, who the hell is it?

UPDATE:

After a day filled with phone calls and text messages, several of our very reliable sources have just confirmed that Austin Marshall is indeed in custody. He reportedly turned himself in early Thursday morning for planting drugs in none other than Seline Roth's apartment, an event that supposedly occurred earlier in the week. Officials have confirmed that Marshall was under the influence of various drugs at the time of his arrest, though he remained cooperative throughout the entire process. He admitted to breaking and entering as well as to possession of over five grams of crystal meth.

There has been no official statement from either Marshall or his lawyer. Bail has been set at $25,000. 

Unfortunately, we highly doubt that anyone's feeling that generous.

I guess this is the end of the Austin Marshall era in New York, folks. Let's all take a moment to say goodbye.
