Look of the Day for 19 February 2016:
Face, Oxyplex Pressed Complexion Powder in Caramel by Bodyography; bronzer, Peach Bronzer by Ada Cosmetics.
Eyes, primer, Diamond Heart Base Primer by Emite Make Up and Pixie Epoxy by Fyrinnae; eyeshadow, on the lid, Dear Perfection, in the crease, I'll-Divining Soul, on the brow, Loathed Enemy, all from the Romeo + Juliet 2016 Valentine's collection from Glamour Doll Eyes; liner, deep violet long wear eyeliner by Bodyography;
Lips, lip scrub, Cream of Life by Kae Q, lipgloss, Keep Calm & Love a Soldier Sheer Lip Glaze from the July 2015 Lip Addicts Anonymous subscription from Kiss My Sass.
I had originally grabbed a bright green lipgloss, but it went so horribly with the beautiful, subtle eyes, that I grabbed the colourless lip glaze instead. It is really nice, a little on the sticky side but not much, which I really like. Makes my lips feel very smooth and hydrated. And it smells like apple pie! I usually don't care for things to smell too sweet, if someone says,"This perfume smells like cupcakes!" I say, bleh. I think it's because you can literally smell the pie crust, that's what saves it from being sicky sweet.
The shadows all go really nicely together, I kind of wish I used the fourth one as an eyeliner, which I sometimes do with sets of four, but I left it at home and thus could not make that decision when I was putting on makeup in the car.
The reason, in the picture, it looks like I have black eyeliner on one eye and a lighter eyeliner on the other is totally because I smeared my mascara. What are you gonna do. I think it looks better than the other side actually, I probably should've just smeared that mascara too, except that that would just be a horrible disaster waiting to happen. I know me. I am not good at artfully smearing, I am only good at horribly messily smearing.
I can't even see the bronzer at all. I don't think I properly know what to do with bronzer. I'm wearing them instead of blush, and also sort of up my temples, and I did not actually look bronzed in any way.
