Getting to the basics
As with most millennials, Sidney Sheldon was one of the first non-children books I read, if that makes any sense. While in high school, my friends introduced me to this master of storytelling and boy was I smitten 🥰 As I think of it now, Sheldon had more heroines than heroes, probably catering to his target audience. More so, they were all strong and determined while soft and feminine at the same time. They say our childhood environment greatly shapes our thoughts. Since a majority of my teenage years reading were Sheldon’s, I have always carried this zeal in me. I have tried to carry my womanhood as a true blessing while trying to be strong and resilient. In the back of my mind I think I have always tried to be a Sidney Sheldon heroine and that keeps me going. ❤️❤️ #bookstagram #sidneysheldon #indianblogger #malayaliblogger
