The Mind Bloggers - Blog 1: Nothingsandwich In The Bag

Welcome to a new series, maybe regarding the development of the show and everything else. This is officially the final week of production on Season 1, Episode 4: nothingsandwich.

nothingsandwich started the legs of production in February of 2025 and would be amongst two episodes to be given actual, serious development time, the other being a now-cancelled episode called A Cold Day in Hell, penned by OcColt.

However, things haven't been met with smooth sailings. If The Mind Crackers were the Beatles, then nothingsandwich would be the analogue to Beatles White. There has been a lot of tensions going on behind closed doors regarding the series and how it should progress, and for that we have all decided to take a break for a while after nothingsandwich is over, but that doesn't mean we're calling it quits.

nothingsandwich will release at it's scheduled time at MARCH 28th, 2026 AT 6:00 PM.

Nothingsandwich... soon? The end of an era?

As nothingsandwich comes to a close soon, many Mind Crackers consider this the end of the ongoing saga between Episode 1's original release all the way back in July 2024 until, well, the release of nothingsandwich coming by within... I don't know, but relatively soon.

The production of nothingsandwich was fraught with hardship and tension. Honestly, I'm amazed we just didn't give up and we kept pushing.

So thank you to everyone who kept their spirits high and their patience high too, for The Mind Crackers and I hope that it will all have been worth the wait.

Okay so, today or yesterday or idk fucking Grok posted "cheese pizza" or some shit and we at the Mind Crackers don't fuck with that so we decided to 100% move to Tumblr. We flirted with the idea of moving to Bluesky but decided that it was too little of a nothingsandwich to commit to so we have decided to stay here.

"But what will be here? Will we get the episodes like on the Newgrounds?" Great question. The answer is "No, you won't get full episodes like on the Newgrounds, sorry. However, people on Tumblr will get extra perks, such as extra teasers that wouldn't be posted on sites like YouTube or Discord, and some bonus stuff like an in-universe Q&A after the release of "nothingsandwich"! So there's a lot in store here. Thank you so much for the support thus far, we'll be sure to treat you well.

The Mind Crackers is a show started in 2023 by a group of friends who wanted to create comics together. Eventually, it has spun out into a full blown animated series and a fanbase of around 100 people.
