We had the opportunity these past few weeks to share a land with the silent guardian, a watchful servant… A Dark Knight.

It was an early morning rise or a late night stroll, depending on the way you look at it, for this fruit-eating creature. Maldivians, also locals to the island, call them “flying fox” and they made our honeymoon unforgettable.
