Yuri on Life translation FINISHED

*brushes cobwebs off the dash* Huh. So I’m seeing bots (exclusively bots) in my recommended posts, bots in my notes and followers, pixelated icons all over blogs I know are SFW, it’s almost like… this is exactly what everyone said would happen. Golly gosh gee.

Anyway. I’ve been a busy, busy translator. Partially with something not Japanese but still Yuri on Ice-related (how do I add “wrote dirty dialogue in Late Middle English Yorkshire dialect” to my CV?), but what I can share now is that Yuri on Life is DONE. Here’s what’s new since the last update…

Trying to think of fun facts in this massive pile of updates. Let’s see… Everybody in the cast loves JJ, but Miyano himself says the appeal of the show is embodied in Yuuri. The sound and design section was a major highlight for me because Matsushiba Taku, Umebayashi Tarou, and Tominaga Keisuke gave commentary on every single piece of original program music. Yamamoto and Kubo were drinking beer and shaoxingjiu before their big combo interview, so they are ridiculous at some points.

142 pages down, 118 (bigger, with smaller text, but also more image-heavy) pages to go. I am, however, going to be swamped in January, so if I post any Go Yuri Go pieces, it’s because I’m procrastinating and must be stopped.
