She giggled softly when she was pulled down to the bench beside the girl. It was easy to throw the petite teen around, but more so, probably, to the larger girl before her.
“You… can sense what I do?” She wasn’t surprised; she had met other mutants, including a telepath, but she was always intrigued when they crossed paths. Of course, it helped when they were friendly and helpful. It seemed this one was.
“Oh! You can do what I do! That’s very gut.” She cheered up quickly from the slightly nervous feeling she had before and offered the girl a hand like Mamae taught her. “I am Aeniy. Like Annie, only spelled different. It is a pleasure to meet you, Anne Marie.”
“Nice to meet you too!” AND SHE GRABS AENIY IN A HUG CUZ THAT’S WHAT SHE DOES, SORRY
Releasing her, she held out the paper-wrapped deli sandwich she’d been eating on the bench,
“You want some? Ooh, ooh, and I have other powers too! Mind-control and enhanced agility. What about you? Is it just the empathy or do you have more than one thing too?”
She sounded very eager, enthusiastic, and impressed with Aeniy, and despite the clumsy phrasing, not at all like she was implying Aeniy was ‘less’ if she did have just the empathy.
Aeniy laughed as she was pulled in for a hug, returning the affectionate embrace openly. She was certain she would get along with Anne Marie splendidly.
"Oh. Yes, danke!" She took some of the deli sandwich with a grin, and ate it slowly. She chewed and swallowed before answering more of the questions she was asked. "I can sense and control other's emotions, und I'm always cheerful. I tries to tell Mamae that isn't special, but he says it is.
"So, nein, just the empathy." She shrugged once, eating more of the sandwich. She didn't know someone could have more than one power, but she wasn't one to dwell on her lack of anything else, either. She was content just to make others happy.
