Abortion is not murder; it’s not evil; it’s not irresponsible.
Abortion is a choice made out of need or desperation. It’s a medical procedure. It saves and helps lives.
Abortion is sometimes needed, oftentimes sad, never evil.
Abortion is the killing of...
If you don't like abortions don't get one. Don't tell other people what to do because that's THEIR life not YOUR life.
"If you don’t like people being killed, don’t kill anyone." Can you really not see how unsound this logic is?
If you wouldn’t want to be aborted, don’t abort someone else.
Don’t allow other humans to be dismembered, suffocated or burned to death. That’s THEIR life, NOT someone else’s.
Instead, it has become the most dangerous place on earth.
Whether you are the size of a grain of rice or stand seven feet tall, your humanity is just as valuable as anyone else’s. #abolishabortion
Abortion kills.
Society is rightly horrified when a mother exposes her in-utero baby to drugs and alcohol. We all know this hurts her baby’s body. Most of us would even consider it child abuse. If we know drug exposure abuses the baby’s body, what on earth do we think abortion does to the baby’s body?
Sarah Cleveland, Abolitionist Society of Ohio (via betterthanabortion)
We are literally killing 1/3 of the next generation ─ dreamers, thinkers, inventors, voters, taxpayers, doctors, teachers, mothers and fathers ─ every 24 hours.
Abortion is a holocaust on the human race which desperately needs to be ended.
LIFE:
A choice you can live with
this is what abortion looks like (melissa ohden, abortion survivor)
Wow.
You show a lot of pictures of the baby when it's about 6 months into the pregnancy. That's a great use of pathos for your argument. Now, why don't you show more images of what it looks like when it's actually being aborted. Whenever it's only maybe 1 month into the pregnancy.
This child is six months old. She was born prematurely, and was given the support she needed to live. Thousands of children like her are dismembered limb from limb every year, rather than allowed the same chance to fight for their life. They are all forced to taste their own blood as it fills their mother’s wombs.
Is this the kind of photo you were referring to? Because I don’t believe I’ve shown many children as old as she is on this blog.
Rather, most of the photos I’ve shared thus far are like this:
This child is between 6 & 7 weeks old. He still has a lot of growing to do, but it’s plain to see that he is a human, just like you and I. Every 365 days, MILLIONS of children like him are dismembered, shredded through a vacuum, or born into a toilet, for no reason other than to fill an abortionist’s wallet and carry out the selfish desires of their mother.
When someone is aborted, it does not matter whether they are as old as the girl in the first photo or as young as the boy in the second. An atrocious and unnecessary act of violence was still carried out on another member of the human race, and that is unacceptable.Â
I really don't like abortion. But no matter how sad it makes me, I understand that there are circumstances where it is necessary. You say we all have a right to life, but would you care about the baby after it was born? People who try to get rid of abortion never care about the kids after they're born. They don't help anybody.
Why do you dislike human abortion? If it’s nothing but another medical procedure, if it doesn’t cause anyone harm, if there is nothing wrong with abortion whatsoever — why does it make you sad?
I suspect that it saddens you because deep down, you know that it is the sacrifice of an individual human being. Though you are not yet ready to admit it to yourself, you know that all human beings are created equal, whether they still reside in their mothers’ wombs or not. This is the source of your ‘discomfort’ about human abortion.
In response to your question: yes. I care very much about all human beings, regardless of the ways they are different from me. The idea that those who oppose abortion care less about the children they’re fighting for after they have been born is a misconception — a fallacy picketed by supporters of human abortion in an attempt to tarnish the reputations of those who value the sanctity of human life.
You seem like a person whose heart is capable of harboring compassion, who yearns to help others. Please, I urge you, join the fight for human rights. Lend your aid to those who cannot defend themselves. Don’t turn your back on the weakest members of our society. They need you.
"My body, my choice" only makes sense when someone else’s life isn’t at stake.
