Robbie: Hey man, I cant help but wonder why she was the next target.
Robbie: Was it just because of the pattern? Lakewood, Woodsboro, Lakewood, Woodsboro? Looking at this now, we all gotta stop living in towns with wood in the name.
Noah: I thought so too at first...but he let Kirby leave. I mean it was possible Charlie wouldn't have gotten there in time, but if this psycho really wanted her dead then he would've killed her.

Noah: A few people asking me to update on her health, telling me to go see her, but I don't know her too well, it would be strange. Most think Ghostface is making a comeback, at least they did before the professor was arrested.

Audrey looked to her friend, listening as he spoke, âYouâre right,â she confessed, ânot the thing I want to hear but Iâll accept it for now.â she spoke softly, still not showing a hint of a breakdown.
The female breathed a sigh as she turned on her heel to walk out of the coffee shop, âWhereâs there to go to?â she asked, looking back to Noah, âHome? I donât have a home, I donât even have parents anymore. Lakewood isnât home, and itâs the last place I want to be right now. Here, is the last place I want to be right now.â she spoke at once, her voice slightly raised. Slightly showing a reaction, âI donât know Noah, I really donât. People are dying. What if Iâm next? What if youâre next? What if.. what if now that Iâve just gotten Rachel back, sheâs next?â she looked away, fully avoiding any eye contact with Noah. She tried not to mention Rachelâs return, she tried not to think about it, âBecause what if thatâs how this works?â she questioned before regaining her calm again, âAfter Nina died, remember the texts I got from her phone⊠What if itâs Brooke? What if this stupid psycho just goes for everyone I come in contact with? Itâs all apart of his stupid plan of torture.. I only just met Isaac for the first time yesterday, spoke to him for the first time that wasnât through a freakinâ computer. Iâm losing it!â
âI..Iâm sorry. I just...you can stay at mine, weâll be somewhere weâre familiar...â Noah took a deep breath, panic rising in his stomach. He couldn't deal with this, he wasn't the one who had to stay calm and look at everything in a relaxed manner and figure things out without freaking. That was Audrey's job. What would he do now that she was breaking down?Â
âI don't know what to do.â He confessed eventually, the shock wearing off he was trapped in a ball of anxiety, and it was clear in his voice now. âBut listen to me you are not next, you will not die, and I won't let that happen. Ever. Audrey, I will always find you if you go missing and I'm always here, you know that. You're my best friend and I can not, will not, lose you.â He spoke quickly, his behaviour uncharacteristic. He had to keep it together and he didn't know how.

âGoing by statistics, yes, it would make sense for one of their own to be killed next, but...â Noah didn't want to continue, he didn't want to worry her further, but the look in her eyes made it hard for him to keep anything from her. âBut if weâre going by who is being targeted specifically, the killer would want to hurt that person more, probably kill the people closest to that person, you know? And that could be somebody from Lakewood, but I don't see how any of us are involved in any way, we weren't even alive during the Brandon James massacre. And the latest video...that Ghostface mask...makes me think they're targeting somebody from Woodsboro.â He knew he wasn't making sense, but she had asked him to say whatever was on his mind.
âEmma, if we were being targeted, I think somebody like Jake might be the one that the killer is obsessed with. I mean, he slept with Nina, right? And Will was his best friend. Isaac just got in the way. Or Tyler. Nina was his girlfriend and she slept with a lot of guys. Including Will. I don't want to jump to conclusions but that seems the most likely right now. But Tyler isn't here, so is the killer just trying to lure him here?â
Of course, others could be targeted. Rileyâs name briefly crossed his mind, since she had been close to both of them, but he didn't want to think about that.

Audreyâs mind zoned in and out, she almost never heard Noahâs voice break the silence. She looked over to him just as she received her coffee. Her face showed a calm exterior, she was shocked by what she saw but it hadnât quite hit her yet - and for now thatâs what she wanted to avoid.
âNoah.â she spoke, her voice rather stern before she took a sip of her coffee. She looked away from him, looking outside, allowing her mind to drift once more.
"This is so not what you want to hear... But I'm sorry." Noah sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. He looked a right mess, they both did. Scruffy and exhausted, the shock of the morning showing in their calm demeanour. "I don't like seeing you like this." He confessed, worry lacing his words. What could he do? She had just watched one of her closest friends, 'seen' the torture he had gone through before the killer finally put him out of his misery. So much blood.
"If you wanna...go somewhere, go back home for a bit, you know, anything, I... I'll be with you, you know that, right? You've got me. You've still got me." A feeble attempt at getting some sort of reaction, letting her know she wasn't alone in any of this, he would help her through it.

Audrey wouldnât allow herself to fall apart. Not here, not now - quite possibly later when she was alone. She accepted Noahâs comforting hug without hesitation or saying another word. She allowed for the silence to fill the space, and for a brief moment, it was felt like things were okay. The thought of texting Emma crossed her mind, but maybe it was too soon or maybe she already knew and needed her space. The last thing she wanted was to suffocate her, or anyone for that matter. The smaller female pulled back from the hug, running a hand through her hair.
âI need a coffee,â were the following words to break the silence. After the all-nighter the pair had the night before a warm, skinny mocha was the one thing on her mind - the rest she tried to push aside for the time-being. She grabbed Noahâs hand, pulling him in the direction of the cafeteria and trying her best to avoid the murder scenes and the officers that were patrolling the area.
Noah reluctantly let his best friend pull him along, not daring to make any eye contact with the officers. He didn't want to be brought in for questioning yet and, for some people, that was like an invitation to start talking. He didn't want to talk. He just wanted to make sure that Audrey was okay, because in the long time they had been close he had never seen her like this. Ever.
As they entered the cafeteria, he kept close to her side as she ordered her coffee - he passed, in need of something much stronger to get over what they had just seen. Noah briefly wondered if that's what Jesse felt like when he discovered Nina, so frozen in shock and eerily calm as if void of any other emotion. In fact, he seemed to be the only one like that, everyone around them looked shaken up. But they hadn't seen what they saw, and they wouldn't.
"Audrey?" He tested, surprised that his shaky voice gave him away. His collector exterior meant nothing when inside he was crumbling.

Audrey couldnât exactly turn her eyes away, but was knocked out of her thoughts at the sound of Noahâs voice, looking over to notice sheâd been loud enough for everyone in the building to hear. When Noahâs began to lead her away and out of the building, she didnât protest but instead stayed silent. She kept in her thoughts for a few moments more, thinking why him? Why here? Why Windsor? Although, that was already answered from the murders here years before. She asked herself, âWhy?â not noticing sheâs spoke it. She took a brief moment before looking to Noah, who was beside her, âWhy him?â she asked, although the question was intended to be that of a rhetorical one, âWhat made him a target for murder? He was too nice, he was lovely.â she spoke, in disbelief over what happened.Â
Noah tilted his head quizzically, wondering how Audrey knew him so well, searching his mind for an Isaac she had mentioned and sure enough,there was one back in high school. A guy off a film geeks website that Audrey had met around the time she started talking about Rachel...that must be this Isaac. Weird...like they were all lured here somehow.Â
âIâm so sorry.â he found his voice finally, pulling her into a tight hug that he knew both of them needed.Â
