3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don’t have any, is there a reason?
Secret Siblings
Boredom was apparent on his features. The Stern set of his jaw, the lifeless haze in his stare, Sebastian wasn’t known to socialize with people. Unless of course socializing was considered a polite way of stating murder. The heavy set man hollered, swinging his arms around as if to emphasize his point. This changed everything, he stated the family would be alert next time. Sebastian just pulled out a pack of newports, when Mr. Chubby wheeled on him again.
"I was told you were the best in the business, apparently my sources were ignorant and blind! " Sebastian’s brows twitched then. He was damn good at his job, damn good. He’d ranked in the top three in his station when he was still in the service, highly classified missions that required top competitors. Some high class scum would tell him no different. He lit the cancer stick, taking a puff as he just parted his lips to speak out when Anya interrupted his intentions.
This was usual behavior, from what he’d registered of the woman. She’d take matters into her own hands, and adapt to procedere if things got out of hand. Sebastian wasn’t the patient type however, men as the one before him usually didn’t last very long. He cleared his throat, clenched his jaw and gave Anya a look of pure annoyance. If one didn’t know Sebastian, they’d think he were pouting.
“Garrett, you hired us to do a job, we did it. Not my problem you didn’t weigh out all possibilities of a twin. This is dirty work, I suggest you clean up your act” He was pushing, he knew it. Moriarty would have a hay day if he’d heard such a remark from his right hand.
Bored, and annoyed he crossed the tiny dining room to the fireplace mantel. Thirty seven years old, a hired gun, and he had an obsession with nic nacks. Sebastian plucked a tiny vase from the mantelpiece, white in color with blue swirls lining the curved lip. He frowned when a puff of dust lifted from his fingertips. For a man of high class, mister Talzen wasn’t very tidy. “What a shame..” He spoke, mainly to himself just as he turned his attention back to the task at hand. He’d be taking that vase later.
Anya was trying really hard not to lash out at the client by this point. Her temper was normally under control but this was pushing her boundaries. Anya Lawton didn’t botch jobs, and Sebastian certainly didn’t either, and to sit here and claim that they were at fault for misinformation was going to get this man killed.
Sebastian spoke his mind about Talzen’s incompetence and Anya had to hide her smirk with all her years of practice. Garrett wheeled around to scream at Bastian, giving Anya a moment to let her stoic expression falter. She knew Sebastian caught her grin as he turned from inspecting something on the mantel, no doubt finding something he intended to take that she would have to attempt to persuade him against.
This situation needed to be brought under control before Moriarty made his entrance; this was a large enough mess as it was without this man screaming at the most dangerous person in London. “Mr. Talzen,” She started, hoping to capture his attention and speak some reason into his thick skull, “The job may need revaluating, but my business is death and I can assure you with the correct information in our hands your mark will be dead within a fortnight.”
She cursed mentally as soon as the man turned on her, practically foaming at the mouth and clearly aggressive. She counted the ways she could break him silently as he screamed at her, his face inches away from her own and far too close to her personal space. The smell of Sebastian’s cigarette wafted over, although she couldn’t physically see past Talzen’s obese head to see where her partner was located. She reached up, wiping a speck of spit off her face and tried her hardest not to seethe with rage.
His composure was lazy and off balance; which wasn't unusual for someone like Sebastian. When it came to shooting, and completing a mission he was nothing less than perfection. However, proper etiquette wasn't his most outstanding quality. Even now, as his expression remained a tortured one, casually blowing the pollution his cancer stick provided.
Anya spoke in attempt to calm the man, who now looked as if he were moments away from falling dead on the floor. His entire complexion was a red shade, and Sebastian swore he saw veins rippling from the man’s forehead. He wrinkled his brow, just when he had tried to get a closer look the man had wheeled around once more. Seb was an overgrown child, conflicted by his lack of people skills. He huffed, putting his cigarette out in a nearby flower pot. He then reached in his pocket, receiving a rectangular covering of silver. Unwrapping the piece of gum, he chewed ideally on the piece of juicy fruit, before reverting his attention back to the duo.
As a smoker, Sebastian hated the smell. The stench on his fingertips, the odor on his breath. Smoking was a release however, it eased his timid nerves. He cleared his throat then, a small chuckle rasping his throat. “I suggest you back down Garrett. Anya is not your enemy, unless you push her. I don’t think you want that.” He motioned towards his ally, directing a quick wink as he placed his hands upon his hips. “Now, we’ll wait patiently until our boss, your contractor arrives. I can’t promise you a fix, until I get the say so.”
He was growing tired of his routine. Sebastian was being nice, besides his obvious disrespect to the homeowner. This was friendly, to those who cared not about of course. He eyed the man carefully, a man built on anger was an unpredictable case. At that moment he cared more about Anya’s protection than the clothing on his back, and he just so happened to care very much about clothing.
