Had my first dream about police brutality since all of this shit happened. Even though it was a dream it felt so real, I felt so helpless and so defeated not only me but my friend who was with me, and it wasn't even real. I can't imagine the hurt and anger you feel experiencing it first hand. The police are truly authoritarian. They don't care, the whole thing feels like an abusive relationship. Fuck Police and Fuck the System the continues to perpetuate racism via policy.

Cuviers’s Beaked Whale is the most widely distributed of the beaked whales and looks like a 20-foot long Bottlenose Dolphin with an attitude problem.

they eat squid and pretty much only squid, which they dive to great depths for. a Cuvier’s Beaked Whale with a radio tracker set the all-time record for an unassisted airbreather dive when it descended to nearly 10,000 feet, or almost two miles, and stayed there for two hours.

This post is missing the most Cursed Fact about the beaked whales, which is that:

1) they are the most diverse group of whales, with more species (22) (we think) than all other whales put together

2) we know, like, a tiny bit about four species and almost nothing about the rest. Are there really 22 species? Frankly who knows. They all cruise around in the deep ocean eating squid. Probably squid. For some species we can’t even tell if they’re endangered because we don’t know how many there are. They are Mystery Whales.
