Hipster Fox
Ended up with two versions... not sure which one I like better? Maybe they’re alley cat bros?
Started on a tough customer alley cat - Mr. Cuddles.

Songbird knows all your favorite tunes.
A doodle I did this weekend for a little test I was doing.
A couple more from tonight: a cardinal and a baby blue bird
Getting back into drawing with some bird characters.
Dr. Octopus for Sketch Dailies. A bit younger than mot people know him, but we’ve all gotta start somewhere.
Started this one about a month ago and finally just got back to it. I keep going back and forth between liking flat styles and shaded styles. Shaded ends up taking longer, so I’ll probably do more flat stuff for daily sketches.
A ghoul for Sketch Dailies.
“Darn these silly health crazes!”
Even goblins love ice cream!
Haven’t done Sketch Dailies in awhile, so I thought I’d start back up! I want to start messing around in Illustrator more, so here’s the start to that!
Back to Sprout
Everything is Festival went really well! The response to the game was great and I had a lot of fun checking out everyone else's games. There was a really nice spectrum of VR experiences going on which was particularly cool since a majority of people coming through had never done VR before.
Holden and I have a few polish items we need to take care of before releasing the game, but we should have it up online in the next couple weeks.
In other news, I'm back to working on Sprout! I really fell off the horse there for awhile, but my new plan is to get it out on Vita by the end of September. I've been running into some really annoying snags with object pooling, but if I spread out those frustrations by working on other more enjoyable tasks, it should be more bearable.
For example, here's my progress on the new title screen:
I'm working on moving everything into one scene so I don't have to worry about loading between scenes. Things will just run better that way.
So things are coming along. I've got a couple of smaller games I want to prototype in the meantime, but I'm holding off for a bit to finish up A Night at the Roculus and make some good progress toward Sprout.
Did another take on Hellboy for fun.
90s-Themed VR Event
Next weekend this is going on:
So I'm working with Holden Link on a game to show there called Night at the Roculus. As you might suspect, it's based on Night at the Roxbury and involves VR headbanging. We've been pretty heads down all weekend, but it's coming along better than either of us imagined. Once we get a few more crucial pieces in place, I'll post some screenshots or something.
Unfortunately, this also means that I am not participating in Ludum Dare this weekend :( But I do have an idea for the theme, so I'm thinking I might jam on that once Night at the Roculus is done.
