Went to town today to get a haircut cause I haven't got the chance before I head for Leyte.
Interestingly, it was also my first to see a chili in purple. Turns out it's the Purple Kanthari Chili, also known as the Capsicum Frutescens. I was so amazed that I took a photo of it. Lol
Province life
📍Ormoc City, Leyte

"Have you packed already?" my friend Michie asked me last night and honestly I don't think I have the energy to do it yet. There's a very faint voice in my head begging "could someone please stop me?".
I'm going to Leyte without a plan. I don't have a slightest idea- well, perhaps aside from learning how to drive the car- as to what I'm gonna do once I arrive.
Upon waking up, Josh and I had a brief discussion about reminders while we're away from each other.
Fast forward to when I arrived at the port. I had to hurry cause it was almost time for departure. And while I'm on my way to the port, I tried really hard holding my tears back - I miss Cebu already, I miss the only family I had in Cebu.
The time I took this video I was already crying. I couldn't hold it back anymore.
Cebu has been my home for roughly 7 or 8 years. That's why leaving feels kind of heavy even if it's just for a while.
The sea is awfully calm.
Also made sure Josh was well informed.

Oh Leyte at last!
When I was young, the sight of Ormoc Super Dome means we've finally arrived after a few days vacation from Cebu.
The night before saying good night Josh sent me a picture of them.
I miss them already.
We Crashed John's Team Building
Crashing a party is something but crashing a team building... Well, that's another story.
So we crashed our friend's, John, team building. See how it went...

Haven't been to Cubana Pizza + Party, so our curiosity brought us there.
Mojitos + Live Band + Deep stories with the right people, there's no place I'd rather be.
📍 Camotes Island 🏝️
Camotes Island is a hidden gem located in the central part of the Philippines. It's a place where you can experience a peaceful and laid-back island life, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. And what better way to enjoy this slice of paradise than by spending a long weekend exploring its pristine beaches, clear blue waters, and lush greenery.
The island is small enough to explore in just a few days, yet it offers a variety of activities that will keep you entertained throughout your stay. Here are some highlights from our long weekend in Camotes Island:
Day 1: We made Binignit - it is a traditional Filipino dessert that is commonly eaten during the Holy Week, especially on Good Friday.
Enjoyed the peaceful province life
We have also visited Azure Resort
Later that evening, we bonded with the locals and enjoyed the bonfire under the bright moon.
Day 2: We went to Tulang Diot Island. Tulang Diot boasts a stunning and pristine white sandy beach that is fringed by swaying coconut palm trees. The clear blue waters of the Camotes Sea gently lap at the shore, making it an ideal place for swimming, sunbathing, and beachcombing.
Day 3: Back to reality. We had to head back to the City to hustle harder again. And for the first time ever I have finally experienced what being stranded felt like. Sleepless and long queue of passengers are all worth the experience we.
Camotes Island may not be as popular as other Philippine destinations, but its beauty and charm will surely capture your heart. It's a perfect getaway for those who seek peace, serenity, and adventure. So pack your bags and head to Camotes Island for an unforgettable long weekend.

Layo Pa ta pero Layo Na ta. Padayon lang! 💪
I recently saw this post and it makes really great sense. To an overthinker like me this post gives me a relief and reassurance.

Of course, I wouldn't miss a pictorial by the beach also. Wouldn't miss it for the world. All pictures taken by Josh, so credits goes to him. While the enhancements... well, none other than by truly yours. Haha
