How old were you when you got your nose job and how long after your consultation was your surgery? Your nose looks amazing!! 💞

I was 19 when I got my nose job and it was about 4 months after my consultation. It was that long because I wanted to get it done in the summer when I wasn’t in college. Thank you! x

It was uncomfortable, but in no way would it stop me doing it again for the result. It wasn’t painful, and it only lasted about 10 seconds. Don’t worry about it!

My rhinoplasty is scheduled for Christmas Eve, and I'm terrified. I'm so scared about basically everything even just reading your blog made me cry because I'm so scared (I love your blog though it's only my nerves about mine coming up). It's funny because the two things I'm most scared about are the IV and what I'm going to say under the anesthesia! Ugh I'm a worried mess.

I completely understand your nervousness. I was very nervous too, but I knew it was something I wanted and wanted for so long. Everything went smoothly for me and I would do it all again to get this result. Please try not to be too scared, the doctors and nurses are well trained and know exactly what they are doing. They will take care of you, and I am sure they won’t care about what you will say, they deal with tonnes of patients and they have seen/heard it all. I said some stuff that was silly when I came back around after the operation, they are completely used to it. I hope it all goes well and you have a wonderful Christmas!

Hii I really hope you can answer this! Any advice on how to convince my parents to have a nose job. I really really want it.

Show them that you have done your research and really thought about it.Its important to be grown up about it and to have a good conversation about it. It’s also important to try and see things from your parents point of view as well. If they are against it, try to understand and don’t get angry, that never helps.And if your parents won’t let you get one or something, just think that in a few years you could. Just make sure it is something you 100% want.

can i ask you a few questions?? Like how bad did the healing process hurt, and how long did it take to heal? Thank you hun!

Sorry I am answering these questions so late, I have been really busy :( It didn’t really hurt at all, it was just uncomfortable at time. It was really fine. It took a few weeks for the bruises and swelling to go down, and a few months for my nose to start feeling normal again, but it was completely worth it

Hello! I really do enjoy your blog! I have a rhinoplasty scheduled in early December to remove the hump on my nose as well as remove some of the excess cartilage at the tip. This is something I have been planning for over 3 years! Any tips or pointers for after the surgery? The thing I'm most nervous about is seeing the results once the cast has been removed... Sorry I am answering these questions so late, I have been really busy :( You have probably have had the operation already. Just rest, take the medication you are given, be patient with yourself and the healing.

Hey I have a question/situation. For as long as I can remember I've always hated my nose and I've always wanted a nose job. I went to a consultation when I was 18 but I didn't like the surgeon so I backed out. Now I have a consultation with another surgeon next week (an amazing one). And now that it's kinda 'official' I'm starting to have mixed feelings about getting my nose done. I remember that I felt this way too when I was 18. Did you feel this way too? Is this something normal?

So it's been almost 7 weeks since I got my rhinoplasty. I've noticed that my nostrils look uneven. Like one is higher than the other and it's driving me crazy. I know that it can take up to a year for all the swelling to go down but is this normal? It's making me feel really bummed out.

It took a couple of months. It was maybe two months until I saw the doctor who would do my surgery and maybe two months between then and the surgery! A lot of waiting, but completely worth it. Hope this helps x

hi I’m planning on getting a nose job @ 15 or 16 (I’m 13 atm) I’m scared people will notice (people at school) and judge me bc i dont want a little change i want it to be reshaped completely. what should i do then? and i have a small button like nose and i want it to be a nice long nose similar to nina dobrev's. do u think the doctor surgeons could do something like that btw?

Hi! Honestly most people won’t notice the difference, only people I told that I was getting a nose job noticed a difference with mine. I think that if it is something you really want you shouldn’t spend anytime worrying that other people will judge you. Just do what will make YOU happy. I really don’t know what the surgeon will or will not be able to do, but I’m sure if you find a good one they should be able to give you your desired nose. I hope this helps, good luck :) x

Hi! :) Make sure it’s something you really want, do it for you and no one else.Make sure you do your research, find a good doctor that you trust and makes you feel confident and comfortable with your decision. If the doctor is good and has lots of experience then it should all go great, there are always risks with every surgery, you just have to be aware of them but know that if the doctor is good it’s very unlikely that it will go wrong, or make your face look manly or ugly.

Hi! I showed the doctor pictures from my phone and he understood and remembered them completely! So I think phone photos will be fine! I was scared of the anesthesia too, but the doctors and nurses reassured me and made me feel safe. I asked them loads of silly questions but they made me feel completely safe, so try not to worry about it! :) I loved it when the cast came off even though there was still ALOT of swelling, I loved the shape. I began to love it even more as it went down! :3 I hope this helped and good luck with you appointment! x

Hi :) Sorry I am just replying now, I hope your surgery went well! I think two weeks is a good amount of time to get most of the recovering done! You will probably still have some bruises, but you shouldn’t feel or look awful XD x

Hi! I have a severe deviated septum so I'm getting surgery - part for that and part for cosmetic reasons. I am scheduled to work 8 days after my surgery. Do you think that's a bad idea? Did you still have band aids on after 8 days? Thanks :)

Hi :) I did still have band aids on after 8 days yes! I think you would be fine to do stuff, but if you will still have bruises etc :/ If you don’t have a problem with people at work seeing them then you’ll be fine! I hope your surgery goes well!

I feel like I should do an update! It has been about 9 months now since the surgery. I am still absolutely in love with my new nose. I have had no problems at all with it. It is still slightly numb but I know it will take at least a year for that to completely go away!

I got my septum pierced a few months ago. It was fine! I asked my doctor before if it was okay to do it and he said yes, and I told the piercer that I had an operation on my nose, and she said it was fine. She said there was more scar tissue than usual on my septum but that it was fine to do it. So I did and I have had no problems with that either.

I am still so so happy with my nose, I feel so much more confident when I am talking to people and taking photos. :3
