I'm Nurse Barlow. My Christian name's Emily but I perfer "Nurse", if it's all the same to you.

How long do you think I could go without doing a trial before they drag me out of my sleeproom and force me into one:( ? I'm so tired

Therapy is completely voluntary. Dr. Easterman says you have to want to recover for our Therapy to work.

My, I haven't seen Doris go to therapy in...jeez, 3 years? Might be longer actually.

But the therapy is important, Dr. Easterman wants you to recover and in order to do that you must go to therapy; it's in your best intrest dear

I suppose it wasn't so bad after all, just like you said! You plucked that nasty old tooth outta there like a pro! Gosh, the other doctors & nurses around here sure could learn a thing or two from you. Though I'd wager half of them actually go out of their way to make us squeal, anyhow.

A-A new arm? Haha, I don't think that'll be necessary, Nurse! I'll be especially careful about wading through grime and whatnot, and I'll drop by on the regular so you can give it a once-over, just in case!

Dr. Easterman... He sure is something, isn't he? Sounds silly, but I put myself in harms way just to hear that twinge of pride in his voice... Makes me feel worth something. If I trust him, trust the therapy, maybe I'll be more than just a useless sack of skin and bones.

A-Anyhow, I appreciate what you're doing here. Friendly faces are few and far between, so talking to you has always been, um, a breath of fresh air.

Not to pry, but I heard you talking about headaches not last week—you managed to get that cleared up yet? You seemed awful off-colour.

Haha, maybe I'm just try'na talk your ear off because I'm wary of those tweezers you've got there.

It'll only hurt for a moment, I promise. I'll be quick. And my headaches? Don't you worry about those dearest, those are well taken cared of.

Easterman wants me in tip top shape so I can care for you reagents. I can only help you if i help myself- ah, there we go. All better. Just let me wrap this up, yeah? Keep the bandage dry, if it gets wet or you bleed through, you come straight to me and I'll change the bandage.

Can't have it getting infected now, you're no use if we have to amputate that arm of yours. Oh I'm just kidding, even if we did have to amputate, we'd get you a new arm. I'll take good care of you.

R-Really? Oh, I'm so pleased! I wasn't much looking forward to getting prodded with a needle again...

Um, e-enough about me, though! This pity party's gone on long enough, really... How are you doing, Nurse? Bet this place has you run ragged, 'specially with that blood drive going on.

Oh you're too kind, really. I'm just little ol' me, working hard yet hardly working. Tho, the blood drive does have me a little busier than normal. Nothing i can't handle. It's all part of Dr. Easterman's plan

I do hope you're right—that Dr. Easterman is proud of me, I mean. Hope he was grinning ear-to-ear on the other end of those speakers! God, I was so scared...

A-Anyway, do you think this'll need stitches? The last medical personnel who gave me those was, uh, heavy-handed, to say the least. I've got a gnarly scar to remember it by.

It's embarrassing, but do you think you could be extra gentle about it? I can still remember nearly biting a hole in my cheek try'na keep from screaming the last time...

Emily's expression softened, the tired lines of her face smoothing out to greet you with a look far more gentle than any of the other staff would've given you. "Don't you worry, a small wound like this just needs a bandage to pull the skin together'

She happily explained, sifting through her first aid kit to find her long tweezers

Um, Nurse Barlow? I just got back from a trial at the Docks and Franco got me with that godawful Lupara on the way out.

Got a tooth—eugh, yikes—lodged right into my bicep and it's too deep to get out on my own.

Could you give me a hand, pretty please? It's smarting something fierce...

You were so brave for enduring that trial, I'm sure Easterman is very proud of your progress. Now.. come sit down and I'll fix up that poor arm of yours.
