Marina: smiled, nodding her head. "Good. I wouldn't have it any other way." She nodded her head swiftly, "It might have been a coincidence but when I was lookin at paint swatches, you kicked for the blues and the greens, and you didn't for the Reds." She said shrugging. "Adam is coming back probably so I'll be fine. I have a fruit cup." She said with a smile. "Shoo. Leave."

Theo: Smiled, laughing lightly, "Really? I kicked for certain colors. Wow, I was smart even before I was out of the womb." He joked with her. "Well maybe my brother will be as smart as I was and have his own ideas about what he wants in his future room. " He said leanging over to give his mom a hug. "I love you mom."

Marina: "Everyone deserves happiness." She said, shrugging her shoulders. She nodded, a bright smile on her face as if she was a small child. "Yeah. Eloped." She let out a squeal when she said he would be the witness, "Thank you." She said, pulling him into a tight hug. She laughed, "Hey. You helped me decorate your nursery," She said with a shrug. She smiled, shaking her head, "No, because you will try to stay."

Theo: He shrugged his shoulders, copying her motion. He didn't necessarily believe that he deserved happiness, but he didn't feel like arguing about it. Chances are she was right anyway. "Well, yeah. I'd be your witness. I'd like to be a part of that." He laughed, shaking his head. "I don't really think I helped all that much mom. I wasn't even born yet." He sighed, shrugging his shoulders. "Okay but don't say I didn't offer."

Marina: "Good. You deserve to be happy." She sighed, "If Adam and I eloped, would you be okay with being our witness? I'll even let you decorate the nursery for your brother." She said with a grin. She bit her lower lip, "I'll be fine. I work here sweetheart. I'm not alone."

Theo: "I'm not so sure if I deserve it, but I guess I'm glad I've got it." He said shrugging. "Elope? Really? Yeah though. I'll be the witness. Baby room decorating really isn't my thing though, so I'll leave that to the ladies." He laughed. "Can I bring you in some contraband at least? Maybe a juicy Cheeseburger or something?"

Marina: narrowed her eyes at him, "Stop worrying about me. It's not your job. Your job is to have fun." She laughed nodding her head, "You guys will." She raised an eyebrow, "Are you happy?" She asked. She bit her lower lip, "I have a question." She laughed, rolling her eyes and groaned. "I'm sure. I don't need you keeping an eye on me."

Theo: didn't push it when her eyes narrowed, but it wouldn't stop him from worrying about his mom. He thought about her first question for a moment. Was he happy? His life wasn't nearly as he had expected, but it wasn't bad either. "Yeah I think I am." He said, nodding his head. "What is is?" He asked, feeling nervous about what he question would be. "I know you don't but still. Sitting in a hospital all alone can get lonely. " He shrugged.

Marina: "Your mom isn't going anywhere." She said with a smile. "It's not your job to worry about me, okay? I don't need you worrying about me, okay? I'm fine, I'm always going to be fine." She said with a smile. She laughed, "No, no. Not anytime I soon. I want you getting through college first too." She sighed, "You should go out and do stuff. I'm sure being here is not your idea of fun." She smiled, "I'll be fine. Promise."

Theo: sighed, giving his mom half a smile. He couldn't stop worrying, she was the one who had supported him his whole life, and now he felt like it was his job to return the favor. "If Harley and I are meant to be, then it won't matter if we wait a few years before moving to that step. For now, I just wanna be happy where I'm at." He said with a shrug. "Are you sure? I don't want you to be here alone."

Marina: rubber his back. She hated seeing Theo like this. "I am going to see all of those things, baby. I promise you." She kissed the top of his head again. "Don't worry about me, got it? You never have to worry about me." She smiled, "However, speaking of getting married, please tell me you plan on making that girlfriend of yours my daughter in law eventually?"

Theo: finally pilled himself together, nodding his head. "Okay good, cause I need you around still. I might be an adult but I still need my mom. and I do worry about you, all the time. I know you think I don't care, but I do." He said with a shrug. When she asked if he was going to marry Harley, he let out a small laugh, "I don't know, maybe some day. Not right now though. I want to finish college and get stable on my own first."

Marina: smiled when he climbed into bed with her and she wrapped her arms around him tightly. "I love you too, sweetheart. I'm not going anywhere, I promise. I am never leaving you. You are stuck with me for a very long time." She kissed the top of his head. "You are my pride and joy and I am so sorry you had to go through this. You don't need to waste your time worrying about me, okay?"

Theo: let himself cry for a little longer, not caring if he was supposed to be a tough guy who didn't cry. It had been so long since he'd let everything out like this, that he just couldn't hold back any longer. "Good, because I want you to see my graduation from college, and be there on my wedding day, and maybe even someday if I have children. I'm always gonna need you." Theo sighed, finally sitting up and wiping his face off. "Its not a waste of time mom. I mean I don't enjoy worrying about you, obviously, but Its not a waste of time.

Marina: wrapped her arms around him tightly, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I'm sorry, baby." She kissed the top of his head. "I'm not going anywhere, I promise." She pulled away and wiped his tears. "Hey. I'm okay. I'm fine." She scooted over, and patted the space on the bed. "I know you're an adult and you're no longer a baby but I want to hold you. I just want to hold my baby boy." She said, wiping away fresh tears.

Theo: seeing his mom cry just made Theo cry even more, and when she patted the spot next to her on the bed, he didn't hesitate to crawl in next to her. It reminded him of ehen he was young and his dad first left and Theo would go snuggle in with his mom. It had been a long time since he had done this but it was comforting. "I love you mom, and I still need you around. You can't leave me yet."

Marina: "Hi baby." She said with a smile. She felt so bad for worrying him that right now all she wanted to do was hold him and let him know she was okay. She held her arms out, "Come here."

Theo: was trying so hard not to cry, but he'd almost lost his mom, and that feeling of helplessness scared him deeply. He walked quickly towards her bed, giving her a big hug. "I was so scared you had died." Theo said, letting the tears fall.

Marina: groaned, turning her head to the window. She felt a sense of shame for putting those that she loved through the hassle of worrying about her. What kind of person was she? She couldn't help the flow of tears that streamed down her cheeks. When the door opened, she quickly wiped the tears away and smiled seeing Theo, "Hey nugget."

Theo: had been so worried about his mom. At first he was in disbelief, but once he knew it had really happened, he rushed quickly. Waiting until Adam was done in her room before going in there himself. "Momma." He said, his voice weak.

PHONE CALLS||THARLEY

Harley: I wish that I could say that I am.

Theo: (is quiet for a few minutes)

Theo: Okay I'm on my way.

PHONE CALLS||THARLEY

Harley: It's um...It's your mom Theo. She's in the hospital.

Theo: Are you kidding? Because if this is some kind of joke its not fucking funny.
